Check out today's Elite section. Nothing new since October. Im guessing the store never got Flashback Series 3 or Elite 63. You better pray those are the new toys advertised in the flyer. It’s a trap to lure all the area collectors in there and force them to buy a Big Cass! |

For everyone defending Ryder and saying calling him out is unfair you are completely missing the point. On his show that you all love and defend did he not call everyone out first. By saying stop complaining and find the figures or pay more for them. It’s not an unwarranted attack bozos. He’s using a platform to tell us we should be happy with the way things are while he A. Doesn’t have to deal with what we do and B. Gets sponsored by mattel. I can’t make it any clearer than that really. Not hating the man, hating that he is trumpeting a message he has no basis to discuss. Anything he needs or wants he can get through mattel or ringside so to tell all of us to stop bitching is justification to call out his nonsense. This is my last post on this because some of you just don’t understand what I’m saying or don’t want to and just think I’m “hating on someone with money” I own a home and make six figures a year, I can afford to buy Harley race and a back scratcher but won’t on principle. Good, I'm with him on that, ya'll should stop moaning, its pathetic |

Yeah I wouldn't call him out! It's just illogical to have an opinion on store exclusives when he gets them straight from Bill's hands. The jealousy on this board is truly insane. You guys are calling out Ryder now?!?!?! Seriously what is wrong with people. He's a WWE superstar that regularly communicates with the collecting community. That alone goes above and beyond and shows he's a regular dude too just with deeper pockets. You guys are gonna push him away same that you did with Bill from Mattel. The internet is really a very sad place on most occasions glad to see this board keeping up with that. Maybe instead of attacking people that have what you want go out and try to make things happen for yourself. I get it a concept lost on people today as there is no accountability anymore but to sit behind a computer and attack people you don't know out of jealousy is just wrong. Some of the comments too are really just nasty so I hope you guys can figure out some priorities in life. WTF? Who are you even ranting to? Chill out man no need for any wfigs induced heart attacks. For some reason some users think he isn't entitled to his opinion because he has perks from his job that he's held for a long time and it somehow makes him a hypocrite because he has better access than they do. The thing is I'm not even saying there's not a problem. Maybe there is but it's kinda early to deem this whole thing a failure and to start attacking Zack just for having a different opinion and to act like he betrayed everyone is stupid.. |

What I'm basically saying is...Zack doesn't have to hit every Target/Walmart in creation to find something. So he maybe doesn't realize how difficult some figures are to find. I have nothing against the man. In fact I thought that charity figure thing they did before Xmas was pretty cool. Some people are misinterpreting and misunderstanding what I am saying. It's a similar deal with Sam Roberts. He got Backlund and Dunne free months before anyone else. |

Rabbling about Zack's not so great abilities to relate with the collectors isn't going to change anything. It's raising hell about distribution I would guess. Now what do we do about that? Well, that might be a tough one, you could try to contact Mattel about it and complain and give them numbers and reports, you could try to get a hold of someone that has something to do with the distribution of toys and things like that at your local Walmarts and Targets, I don't know if there's any way to do that though or if that would get anywhere, I mean you could try. Anythings worth a shot. I don't collect any of the current guys and looks, I stick to Flashback themed stuff and the only exception is I buy every Elite Matt, Jeff and Rey, BUT I understand the frustration and don't think a new current figure that isn't 1/100-1/500 or whatever should be going for upwards of $100. I feel for you.

I feel for you. I completely agree. Zack and Curt aren’t the only ones who feel the way they do about exclusives, and that’s fine. But I also feel there’s plenty of evidence for someone to be upset at how difficult it is to find figures, not because they got to a store too late, but because of how they’re being distributed. But I unfortunately, I don’t think there’s anything any of us can do about it. As long as the stores want those exclusives, Mattel is going to continue giving it to them. And from a business standpoint, I get it. But it still sucks as an honest collector who wants the figures for themselves and not to try to get 5x or more their worth on eBay. |
