Ric Flair revealed that Mr. Race has terminal lung cancer at some show he, Hulk Hogan and Jimmy Hart did in Vegas.
I didn't know how bad his health has been over the past few years. He's had a few surgeries and he broke both of his legs over a year ago when he fell at his house. He still isn't quite healed from that apparently.
2019 is coming at pro wrestling hard.
EDIT: Now the story is that he has cancer but it isn't terminal. I have no idea. I replied with the update below.

Terrible news. I always wanted to meet him because he's a true wrestling legend.

All the legends are getting at that age. I suspect the next few years will be very hard. And they're all the Legends that everyone's familiar with and will always expect to be around. But unfortunately the majority of them are like you said at that age, in the 70's+ now so the next few years might bring some hard hits. |

Night of Champions 4. Nick Aldis and Ciampa after going to make appearances. So is Ryback for some reason. But Harley's going to be there of course. He is truly one of the toughest human beings our sport has ever seen. I knew he had smoked on and off since his teens, but it's still terrible.
There may never be another, but the business as a whole is better for all men that try to fill his boots and cast the same shadow under those bright lights.

Alexa got pulled off the road (again) and Torrie Wilson was apparently announced for the Hall of Fame...Dont get me wrong, not as serious as terminal cancer but still. |
