So, got a little problem and was wondering if anyone's run into a similar situation...
I ordered two replica title belts off WWE Shop recently. A black strap Intercontinental and a Winged Eagle. The package arrived and I torn into it like a little kid on Christmas morning because I'd been waiting and saving for replica title belts for literally years. Turns out that only the Intercontinental replica was in the box. I didn't think much of it at the time, just figured that they were sending them separately. Flash forward a few days and I got to thinking that I didn't remember getting two shipment notifications, just the one. Checked my saved e-mails and sure enough, there was only one shipment with both belts supposedly in it. So, I called WWE shop's customer service to let them know and check to see if maybe they were sending them separately and it was just a clerical error or something. The lady on the phone was really nice and helped me quickly with getting the process moving. Later that day, I received and e-mail from WWE Shop's Customer Service Team with something called a WWE Postal Claim Form to fill out and return. Seems straightforward, and I suppose it is, but...
I have a severe anxiety condition and have never had a situation like this before where something I ordered was missing from within the box it was supposed to be in. The claim form offers the option of re-ship or refund (I'd want a re-ship), but has a line about cooperating with an investigation if needed and some legal mumbo jumbo about fraud and such, so naturally my anxiety sends me into overdrive thinking they're going to accuse me of something or that cops will be showing up at my door or I'll have to go into court of some crap like that. With everything else going on in my family's life right now (Dad sick and in a nursing home, house in foreclosure, my dog (and best friend) being sick and on seemingly headed over the "rainbow bridge" a lot sooner than later)… Well, I know it's probably silly to think the form is anything other than just a normal step in the process of getting a re-ship, but that's how my mind works, particularly in times of already heightened stress. I just always sort of jump to wild conclusions.
So, I was just wondering if anyone here has had a similar issue such as a package arriving with missing item(s) or had to go through the claims process with one of those forms before.
For what it's worth, it was delivered by UPS (and put in the middle of my front walk way, rather than at the front door where delivery people usually put stuff). I didn't actually see UPS drop it off, just noticed the box there when I went happened to look out the front door. I didn't notice any super obvious signs of tampering with the box. From what I recall, the sides were crushed in a bit (which happens a lot in my area) and the brown tape was ripped a little on one side, though not down the middle that I remember. Honestly though, I tore into it so quickly and excitedly that I didn't take the time to really inspect it and actually ripped the box myself so I have since threw it out and thus I can't really check it over now.
