I think that Bret basic destroys the Ultimate version.
Better hair Better facescan Better attire No ugly ab crunch
if you're reading Mattel, please make that basic Bret for the regular Elite line with the regular ab crunch and no alterations to the attire!

If they could execute (no pun intended) that without the painted torso, it would be a must have Elite. The basic would be great if they hadn't totally botched the logo on his top. It's the late 90's style he wore rather than the small, off centered version that should be on the figure. It's missing details like that which make me wonder if they even look at reference pics for some figures. |

It's probably the best Bret i've ever seen from Mattel (with regards to the hair, face & attire).
If it was in the regular elite line with the regular elite torso it would be a must have.

The hair/face/head is actually from the DM Bret - also used for the (1st RSC) exclusive, Basic Series 14, 49 and the WM Austin Vs Bret 2-pack. So if you could get one of those loose/cheap - and then just pop the head on the recent KOTR Elite figure, it would look pretty good/similar... |
