Who cares if there are people complaining about new Ultimate Warrior figures? They sell so you should make them. Wasn’t that the argument when people were complaining about Cena and Rey in every other series? And when has Mattel really cared about our bitching?

I’m still out of the loop on no Murphy or Kassius Ohno figures They're 2 of the most requested figures, idk how we haven't got any word on them yet, whether it's positive or negative. I really really hope they can get at least 1 Kassius Ohno out before he's completely off NXT TV. If he actually moves to the main roster, then surely we can get an Ohno.

Thanks for posting the Q&A - though they only got like two questions, it does sound like there is at least some future in the Retro line still which is great; if they are considering the investment of creating female talent in that form as well. I LOVE the Retro line - but I'm not really interested in seeing Ronda Rousey, Becky Lynch and Asuka etc. in it... maybe that's just me though. If they are considering adding women, then I think ones like Trish Stratus, Lita, and Miss Elizabeth are a much better fit. I agree, but as collectors of the Retros we know we have to make peace with the amount of modern releases in order to get to the classics we want. If releasing a Ronda Rousey brings us closer to a Sensational Sherri, Miss Elizabeth or Alundra Blayze then I'll buy some Rondas

1) Bill has clearly never watched Survivor Series as Gorilla & Bobby only did 1 together
2) Am I the only one creeped out by the Edge head behind Trevor that looks like Nicole Bass? Yeah, that didn't sound right. The early survivor series announce team was Gorilla and Jesse (well, they were the early announce team of just about every PPV). But, I'm glad they found a way to get Monsoon out, they need to give him a larger (rounder) torso and some shorter legs (he as tall as Andre in the prototype pics).

Yeah I was think Gorilla needed to be a littler fatter. But I’m just glad we got a Gorilla Monsoon figure!

I love the Q & A's but this one really lacked an understanding of how badly people wanted Harley Race and how there is a market for him and legends ... and many of us did not get him. I hope he comes out in some other form. I know that is not Bill's fault that Walmart did what they did ... but this opens the door for other possibilities with Race and Graham and other legends.

What kind of nonsense is that? Are we making stuff up now? He even said in this interview that they can use every title and of course they can, WWE has the rights for all of them. And crap like this is exactly what needs to be criticized, cause it's lazy and cheap and the Shayna figure and the male NXT title still doesn't get the crapstorm it deserves, there is nothing to defend about this sexist bullcrap. That was before. They only just recently were allowed to use the WCW titles, so it not coming with Dean Malenko is understandable. The recent Halloween Havoc Rey on the other hand...

So after watching the Q&A the only thing that I guess I would say didn't make much sense is of course when they brought up these Wal-Mart and Target exclusive figures. How Bill said something about how he has spent more money on figures that he wanted to and it upset him and if you have to spend more money on figures then you have to. I found this odd because in a way he was saying if you have to spend money on the second market such has the bay then that is what you have to do to get the figure. I find it odd because looking at it has a business point of view well they are making that money Mattel the people selling the figure for those increased prices are the ones making the money. It sounded like Bill is just happy with giving what Wal-Mart and Target want and damn the figure community. And when he said that he seemed to only have collectors in mind. What about the parents who wanna get figures of modern superstars their kids like, like Carmella or Pete Dunne. If they can’t find it they aren’t going online to pay 40-50 for a figure.

No question about Harley Race? Tons of fans want him. Does Mattel hate making money? they complain legends dont sell well enough then you have 3/4 of the collector community asking for one figure, so lets just be silent and do nothing about it. that should have been the 1st question! Harley was voted #1 fig in the polls for the year. This world is so ass backwards!

Plus: "Alicia Fox" and "Legend"... not words I think should ever be put together. She is, whether you like her or not, a legend by definition

I'll just throw it out there that Stunning Steve Austin held the Tag, TV, and US titles in WCW. Now am I saying they go the Defining Moments route with three titles and one long haired Austin head and another with short hair and facial hair? Yes that is exactly what I'm saying they should do.

That would be the best thing ever. But there is no way they debut all those belts with just one particular figure

Jesus Christ. Have you ever made a positive post? Hundreds, open your eyes. You know, that's the problem about positive and negative postings. Nobody recognize positive postings, because there's nothing to discuss about it, but when someone criticize something and specially you don't agree with it, then it appears that you only read postings like that from me, which is simply not true. Dean Malenko needed a selling point, so they gave him a belt. They couldn't use the WCW title, so they went with the next best thing. What kind of nonsense is that? Are we making stuff up now? He even said in this interview that they can use every title and of course they can, WWE has the rights for all of them. I agree on the male NXT title it's bullsh*t tbh.

There’s been recent opportunities to use WCW belts so not being able to find a spot is a BS excuse.
EG Goldberg was a plain figure with zero deco. They coulda easily thrown in a US belt along with the big gold belt and still been within budget. E67 Rey coulda came with the cruiserweight E62 Sting wasn’t a champ so if they were going to give him a random belt then they coulda given him the US or 91 world belt.

But they know new belts will sell figures, and at this point the WCW belts are so long overdue that they could package them with a dog turd and it would still sell. Rey or Goldberg are high demand figures that will sell on their own. I'm not a fan of the strategy, but Mattel seems to have a pretty clear pattern at this point.

That Goldberg doesn’t seem to be moving at all at retail. $32 is a lot to ask for a plain figure, a belt, and a music box no one cares about. A 2nd belt woulda made it a lot more enticing. I’m sure a lot of us woulda bought multiples just for the US belt.
