Good idea , to bring ljn figures back to lifr, but bad choice of wrestlers. We need figs that ljn forgot to release in the 80s like dino bravo, missing link etc... I prefer my young bucks figs from the other company Only you would suggest Dino bravo and missing link outselling the young bucks in 2019! I love it! Ridiculous |

I didn’t realize how big these figures are until seeing them on Being The Elite. Not a nostalgic thing for me though so that’s not a price I’m willing to pay.

remember when Jakks did this in the classic line and everyone was like "wtf are these things?? ugh" Yes, yet somehow these are receiving love just because it’s the Young Bucks 🙄 I’ve always thought LJNs look terrible, no exception here. |

I like the old LJNs, and I was excited at first glance to see how these would come out, but I'm not feeling them at all. They strike me as much more in line with the Jakks repros, which themselves were more in line with the old OSFTM WCW line. The packaging is sharp as hell, but the figures themselves just aren't doing it for me.

I wonder who actually designed and made these?
So we know chalk line have the LJN name and used it - but obviously it's just LJN in name and not those original designers etc
Be interesting to know a bit of the behind the scenes of it. Imo though this is a bit of an illusion to call them ljn figures as they're ljn in name only

Sorta reminds me of the Jakks verions of LJN or maybe the WCW OSFTC ones. Sorta looks that Alex Wright. LJN was right before my time, so I don't have any LJNs, did have alot of the WCW ones, but still a pass for me. Hasbro/Retro only for me really.
And the pose just looks super odd, I don't know anything about these guys, but sounds like the pose makes sense, but they don't look much like an LJN style figure other than being big/rubber/fixed position.
That would be cool actually if some smaller company started doing Hasbro style figs of guys who aren't signed to WWE.
