Since WWE & Fastlane are going to be in Cleveland this weekend, Kurt Angle will be signing autographs at the Walmart in Eastlake at 2pm Saturday. In preparation for this event, there was a display/endcap loaded with his Elite 66 figures. Unfortunately, there were no signs of the rest of that series (I wanted the Bludgeon Brothers). But I did find 3 Bob Backlund figures, which I gladly bought one. Now to somehow find NXT 4, Pete Dunne, Sensational Sherri, Elite Carmella and other hard to find figures.

So they purposely loaded the shipper with just E66 Angles ? Wonder how that's possible , and what happened to the other E66s

I'm hoping they show up at some point. Elite 64 just showed up there and other local stores in Cleveland area

This takes me back to the one WFer's report where a Walmart store was getting a Superstar signing the week before a PPV, but with no indication of who it'd be, so they ordered the hell out of figures in the hopes that they'd make a killing with the sales to get signed...but Ziggler showed up, who hadn't been in a set in many months at that time, so they had nothing.

Stores doing appearances like this with the event centered around a single individual tend to load up on stock in this fashion a lot.

That happened here in Brisbane years ago and we got miz and Morrison as the surprise guests. Problem was they had zero merch over here. I took as many dvds with multiple faves on as I could and not one had them on. Waste of a trip.

And yet when Carmella was signing at one a few months ago, people were able to get the fan central figure before any stores even had the set. It's so weird.
