If hes selling the decals like that, it should already be sealed and ready to go.
I was on the fence about ordering some, but ill just make my own.
Thanks for shining light on it.

Yeah, if you have the patience and attention to detail, making decals isn't hard.
It would have been nice to try some of these decals that weren't defective, at least to update this topic, but now we'll have to leave it on a sour note

I actually got some of his decals in today and applied them. It can be confirmed they are on different (thinner) paper and a definite improvement in my opinion. I sprayed a couple coats of sealer to be on the safe side though, but they went on seamlessly. I’m happy with them. The ones I applied were Ziggler and Tyler Bate.

he was sealing them,it just looks like the sealant beaded up instead of staying in a layer. honest mistake, im sure its fixed now, i will keep going to him for decals cause they look great, not hard to throw a lil sealer on...
i will give a tip tho, after u spray a layer of sealer on, dont accidently touch the print like i did, cause it makes the ink wet again till it drys and u will smudge the ink, i feel like a dick for doing that... lol

But didn't he try to blame it on defective paper instead of taking the blame for not sealing them properly or did he finally admit it was his own doing? I'm not hating on the guy but I'm willing to bet he just gave them a quick pass of spray sealer and didn't bother going back over them. They really do need multiple layers so if it was just "beaded up" then I can only imagine he only went over them once and it was ineffective. So Idk if it's an honest mistake or if he was just doing the bare minimum and it caught up with him but hopefully everything is resolved now.

dont think theres any need to go on a witch hunt for the guy. from what i can tell he does alot of these and as the saying goes 'craphappens' if hes taken the time to fix the problem then i dont see any issue. u guys gotta remember too this is a guy doing a small business from home to make ur customs look cooler (and yes make some money) but hes also not a big company with a testing facility and quality control department etc.... things arent always gonna be perfect.
it looks like hes tried to fix it... plus u get sent double the amount of decals u actually need to do ur figure, so if it happens on one give the rest a coat of clear before using the rest. the guy does great work getting the material for the decals, dont even wanna know how he gets some of the images and tatoos and things and then puts them in a usable form and does it as a good price.
there may have been a paper issue, i had an issue with the clear beading, but that could also be from the paper. he could have changed to that paper and cleared the exact same way but it reacted different on that paper than hes use too.....
but i will say if u have banned the guys from buying from u for posting a review, un ban him dude. u got advertising and a thread where ppl discussed how to get good results with ur product, would say its a win

Buy a can of clear lacquer and spray a coat of sealant on your decals for extra protection. Give it a day to dry then try applying them. It's good insurance to prevent this. I've purchased from CSD when I'm too lazy/busy to make my own. It's happened to me, but only once. Anything could happen with the paper. But I'd add the extra sealant.

Im looking to buy from this guy. Any updates on the quality of decals from a year ago to today? Any recent purchase photos? I buy from CSCD frequently and don't have too many complaints. Only issues I've ever had were with Dolph DZ Crew attire (logos too small) and Benoit's slashes (also too small). I'm usually pretty happy with my experience.

I'm usually pretty happy with my experience. Which benoit slashes were too small i was looking to buy 1 or 2 diff benoit sets I had the No Mercy 2000 ones I believe. The light blue. I used different Benoit decals too that were better in terms of size. Had to trim all the yellow off. Here are photos of both: Obviously I don't have the blue slashes accurately placed, but I find they look too small regardless.
