True, I probably would have put it in place of the Bulldog vs Warlord match since we saw that match a few times already in 1991. I believe the tag match was used to introduce the Repo Man and El Matador and end the feud between Virgil and DiBiase, so I was okay with that match being included. But back to Flair/Piper. Such a great feud, loved the time Flair attacked Piper at the announce table then Piper, dazed, hit Vince McMahon with the chair. These two had great chemistry, I loved their 2 minutes alone in the 1992 Royal Rumble - so good, would have loved to see a one-on-one match at this time. |
