I know several people commented about the WWE Event Signs that were posted on the Wrestlemania displays at Walmart, so I thought you may find this post minterestin. One of the Walmart’s by me had the event listed as today at 3:00 pm. I really should not have went, but I squeezed it in, expecting to see new product. There was only one other person there, so I was hoping for the best. The Mattel Rep was over 15 minutes late when she came out of the back. She was setting up a table and had two open boxes, one with Hot Wheels written on it and one with WWE. I approached her and asked if there would be new stock today and she said no. The whole purpose of this event was to put out a toy ring and some old figures for kids to play with. It was all old items that had been out for a while. This was not at all what I expected. If you were Planning on going to a WWE Event at your local Walmart, you may want to reconsider!

Wasn’t it mentioned in a similar tread a few weeks ago that this is what these kind of events consisted of?

Wasn’t it mentioned in a similar tread a few weeks ago that this is what these kind of events consisted of? Was it ever: Wal-Mart periodically hosts hands-on events, usually centered around featured products of the moment (in line and end cap PDQ products). They're usually held around times like this when toy sales are historically at a low point. It's an opportunity for kids to get in and get their mitts on things in an effort to drive impulse purchases at a time when parents aren't usually heavily ingrained in the toy market.

This is how I feel about Pete Dunne. And Alexander Wolfe. And Bob Backlund which I surprisingly found the other night. And the latest Hall of Champions which I don't think ever came to any Target within a 60-mile radius. Or the latest NXT elites which never came to any of those Targets, presumably because they all have at least 8 NXT Rusevs on the pegs.

Thanks for locating your post in this thread. I've merged all of the posts from goosepatry's thread with it so they're all in one place. Edit: Now to clean up this thread...

Saw nothing but leftovers of e63 and e64 at my Walmart. No Sherri or anything new.
