honestly it makes sense though..... Finn didn't actually pin Lashley for the title, thus it was a flukey chit win anyway. Lio got destroyed by Lashley but he knows Lashley is his "meal ticket"...the entire point of those 2 is that Lashley is the muscle and Lio is the annoying voice that you want to punch in the throat, but cant because you know Lashley will legit  your life up So then Lio gets too cocky and costs Lashley the title, takes his beating and apologizes, meanwhile he's been plotting how he can get the belt back and undo the shitstorm he created. Opportunity knocks and he takes it, Lashley is the champ again, a belt he never actually lost. This also creates a TON of sypmathy for Balor because even though he won the title cheaply, he's been screwed out of it before he even got going. It's called.....building a Wrestlemania match. at least i think thats where they are going with it. |
