So after going back and watching some classic moments in WWE, i realised there's one thing i miss so much in WWE. It's a small detail to some extent but i feel like it made the presentation of the product more special, the thing i miss is the camera flashes from the crowd.
One of the classic moments i watched was when Edge speared Jeff Hardy at WM17, right when Edge jumped the entire arena filled with flashes and made that moment feel even more special and monumental. Every big moment back then and through the 2000's had this and it just made those moments even better.
Obviously technology is more advanced now and you can just snap a pic in seconds without a flash, but i think it'd be awesome if at WrestleMania, then entire arena filled with flashes when Rollins hits the finishing Curb Stomp on Lesnar, ridding the beast. Another small thing about WWE i miss is actual Entrance videos, it's just boring as f*ck now with the wrestler's names just slapped over a generic background.
What are some small things you miss about WWE?

I don't know how "small" pyro and different stages for PPVs are, but yeah.
I also miss the moving graphics from 2002-2004 when the stars would move within the match graphic and then freeze-frame right before it cut to commercial. I loved those!
I also miss when they did not break the corner barricade weekly on RAW because I don't even care about the spot anymore.
I miss the old Elimination Chamber a lot.
I miss regular ring posts without LED screens.

I miss:
the unique stages as Raw and Smackdown had in the Ruthless Aggression Era ( I wish they'd bring those stages back). Moving graphic match cards were cool, too TV 14 The character that superstars had (Eddie Guerero, Kurt Angle, etc) The commentary teams being consistent Unique PPV stages (Armageddon, No Way Out, SummerSlam)

+The Presentation +Enthusiastic commentary +Good storytelling in matches +When promos were backstage and brief, rather than in the ring and whiny, long and repetitive +Larger than life wrestlers, who are still memorable decades on +Where every big story wasn't revolved around an authority figure +Interesting and colourful ring attires +When heels were genuinely hated, and weren't just edgy anti-heroes +PROPER TAG TEAMS
I think mostly, I miss the variety we used to see. You had smaller guys like Shawn Michaels and Owen Hart providing exciting manoeuvres. Guys like Bret Hart and Mr Perfect putting on technical masterpieces. Attractions like The Undertaker. Big guys like Diesel, interesting and never-before-seen characters like Goldust. And they all did different things in the ring.

I don't know how "small" pyro and different stages for PPVs are, but yeah. Pretty small, since they have no overall effect on the quality of the product. That said Reyβs entrance needs that little pyro book it sounds weird without it/

I miss nameplates on the Championship Title Belts. I like to personalize my collection. With nameplates, I can do just that. The SuperStar side plates look great on the Big Logo Belts, but I don't have my own custom logo...yet.

Good camera work - especially not seeing crowd reaction shots every ten seconds.
More frequent backstage segments that weren't just interviews/segments from the GM's office.
Characters having some backstory, other than just showing up and having a dozen catchphrases or nicknames attached to them.
Not having names shortened months or years after being on the main roster.
24/7 rule for the Hardcore Title. Even randomly instituting it for one week for the IC/US Title occasionally would be so much fun.
Less slick, bright, and polished look of the set. So much LED now. Makes things feel so washed out to me. I'd love to see some grit back to it.
Pyro.
Really, just more overall variety and some air of unpredictability.

I don't miss much from the WWE era. I miss the WWF. I miss how an entire storyline, and a heated one at that, could be built on Prime Time Wrestling. I miss real managers who instigate these personal feuds. Bobby Heenan instigated the Piper vs Rude feud, Rude appeared in person one time. They were kept apart.
Things felt more official in the WWF. It felt like a sports production, and there was a true authority hierarchy. Matches didn't just begin out of nowhere. Even the announcers felt like sports announcers. The analysts felt like analysts. They generally had a sports background, or were former wrestlers or managers. I was a huge fan back then. Today I only watch if there's nothing else on (and sadly there usually isn't).

I miss real crowd reactions. These stupid you deserve it chants and stuff are cool when they mean something but just look at the way the crowd popped during the attitude era. Itβs nothing like youβll ever see again. They could know exactly when the rock or stone cold was coming out and still go in nuts! When Benoit won the title at 20 the garden erupted. Imagine that happening now? You deserve it clap clap clap stupid

Pyro and unique PPV stages would be the first things off the top of my head.

the only thing I miss is being emotionally compelled by a storyline and suspension of disbelief coming easy. Iβm willing to admit some of that may be getting older, but the thing is a lot of classic era wrestling delivers this and still thrills me. if only we could get these types of characters and stories today.

Backstage skits that were fun. Edge, Christian, Angle, Foley... pretty much everything Foley did as commissioner.

Unique name graphics for each PPV when guys enter the ring. I know guys like Elias and Wyatt have their own personalised ones but I miss when they matched the theme of the event.

In addition to everything that's already been mentioned, I miss those packages they would show before a PPV building up the main event, my favourite in particular is the 1997 SummerSlam package "If life were fair, this legend (Bret Hart) would be lauded in his pursuit of a historic 5th World Wrestling Fedration championship. Instead, he's a fallen idol, America's public enemy number one..."
"And now... *sponsor* presents, WWF *PPV*!..."
Belts that look prestigious. All the current belts look like their designs came as a result of holding a drawing competition in the WWE Kids' magazine.

I miss when wrestlers were 7 feet tall and 400lbs!
These subpar 200lbs Johnny Paint Cans don't look like WWE superstars!

Alternative/Rock songs they used for ppvs from 2001 to about 2008 Unique Stages Blood Adult humor (ruthless aggression type segments)
As long as they keep pyro for Wrestlemania then itβs not that big of a thing to me

Big guys like Diesel, interesting and never-before-seen characters like Goldust. And they all did different things in the ring. I agree with all of this. Especially the brief promos and getting away from the authority figure. They need to go back to letting the wrestlers get in feuds with each other without an authority figure being the one to draw the heat. They need to go back to a Jack Tunney-like figure who only talked once every few months to announce big changes or matches - and didn't have to be on every week and involved in every big feud. One of my main problems with today is the fact that so many guys are interchangeable (in look and wrestling style) when I was growing up wrestlers didn't look like one another and each had their own distinct wrestling style (a lot of that had to do with the fact that there were a lot more territories and each had a different style of wrestling, for example the Carolinas weren't like the WWF, WWF wasn't like the AWA, AWA wasn't like WCCW or Mid South, so wrestlers had to work with guys who wrestled completely different styles instead of one style which is now know as the WWE style). I also liked that wrestlers had there own look or style, Hogan didn't look like Warrior, Warrior didn't look like Savage, Savage didn't look like DiBiase, DiBiase didn't look like Jake and so on... One thing you need to add to your list is bring back actual finishing moves. It cannot be a finishing move if everyone kicks out of it. Its fine if a wrestler here and there kick out of your finisher at a big main event match once in a blue moon but not every Raw or Smackdown.
