Not only Diesel but Lawler, Backlund, Vader and Double J from this time period. I love these retros and I hope Mattel make them for years to come!

im not a retro guy. or a hasbro guy for that matter. So im gonna plead ignorance here.
But i would assume ppl want a Retro diesel to fill the hole in the Hasbro collection. But to me the retros don't look enough like the hasbros. So wouldn't it stick out like a sore thumb if thats the case?

The arms are especially bigger than the originals, But they are close enough to pass. I keep um MOC.

I hope it's 94 Mullet Diesel so it actually fits with the hasbros. If we wait all this time and it's long haired 96 Diesel I'ma be pissed off

However, I do agree that the 1994 style, King of the Ring or SummerSlam 94 Diesel would fit in with the Hasbro era much better.

I expect it will be heel Diesel, but I definitely don’t rule-out it being from the face run - particularly if they intend to repaint the figure as Kevin Nash as a cheaper option in a future series, then a figure with longer-hair would be an easier re-release.
I certainly wouldn’t be against them releasing a heel Diesel first and then a couple of years later (if the line lives that long) bringing-out a face version with a different head to reflect his changed hair - even if they reuse the same body with a different logo on his top (I’m expecting a Braun repaint figure anyway, though I’m hoping for a Reigns upper body on taller legs).
Given the amount of time they have to catch-up on from the end of the Hasbro line, some guys should really see multiple releases from different eras (Jericho could’ve had at least three others to go with the series 7 figure - WCW, Y2J and serious suit Jericho - if he hadn’t left the company). This is where I really miss the bio-cards on the back of the cards - a Diesel with a heel bio-card written in Hasbro-like bulletpoints like it’s 1994 would really ground the release in the correct timeframe, and contrast with a later face release with a bio-card written like it’s 1995.
Back on topic: I expect we’ll see him at WrestleMania Axxess!
