I never even saw Series 2 at my Walmart at all lol. That was the only one I cared about since I def. would have bought the face Doink to go along with the awesome heel version and probably Razor too. Really? I thought by now everyone saw Series 2. Up until about 2 weeks ago, I could still find the whole set at a few of my local stores. I found 1 Doink and 1 Razor. I had to order Alundra and HBK online. Never saw Basic 2 in stores, either, got them all online. Of course, I never saw any Series 3, either, at retail OR online. They must be somewhere.

heres my big bi**h right now. its been 4 months since this FB 3 issue! Mattel knows 3/4 of the members on here didnt find or get em.
so heres an idea. lets do nothing!
dont try to figure out a way to rerelease the set or anything.
they say so and so legends dont sell, yet many are begging him for this set. ANY other company who likes money & sales would be doing something about it and even more so communicating with customers to let me know they do hear ya and do care and do like to make money and are trying to figure out how to get this set or the these figs out again.

This is exactly why I think they may be trying to get that Jordan level hype for releases. It’s not great.

Series 2 flooding, and Series 3 non-existent. Never heard a single report, except maybe out in Victorville. And what's more ironic is that Mattel is based out of LA. They're truly helpless and the way they've been tight lipped on it just makes thing worse.

Series 2 flooded here but we still got one shipment of Series 3. I cant believe I was just lucky enough to show up the day they put them out.

Yet nothing from Mattel saying hey we hear ya, were gonna get that fig put again this way or that way. good god WTF are they in biz for? when people are begging you and you see a fig going for $300-$500 3 months after it came out and KNOW there was an issue and many didnt get them, again just sit and dont do anything! GOD i wish another company would take over the legends aspect of everything!

GOD i wish another company would take over the legends aspect of everything! If the set was cancelled just as stores were starting to place orders then that means production was halted so its doubtful there are any more figures sitting in a warehouse somewhere. If Walmart had more stock, I would think they would have sent it to stores when this set was put on clearance so they could unload whatever stock they had. While I understand your frustration about the lack of communication from Mattel about this set, these guys have a long track record of NOT communicating with the fan base about their product so IMO its par for the course for them to be silent. They don't care, that should be evident by now and speaking of now, we are 8 years into the line with a couple years left on their contract- I don't think they are going to change their ways this late in the game?!

GOD i wish another company would take over the legends aspect of everything! I really like your idea of WWE contracting out the Legends figures/collectibles to a different licensor. They've already partially done that with the Bandai figures of Austin/HHH/Rock/Taker and the Funko Pops of M$M, Andre, Bret, HBK, etc. What I'd really like to see, though, is a regularly-produce separate line of high-quality legends figures that go for $50/ea available online only. Better yet, if this company could obtain non-exclusive licenses from each liensor, then they could also manufacture figures for wrestlers who are on bad terms or completely unaffiliated with WWE.

Individual stores don’t order the sets. Once their inventory reaches a certain inventory level the distribution center sends the stores more product. The stores around here had the same amount of inventory as Series 1 & 2 and no store had a single figure left by the end of the week they were stocked. And that was the same for their restocks. The figures came and went within a couple days.
Many on here who are saying they didn’t see Series 3 in their stores are also saying their area store’s pegs are still loaded with Series 2. Well if they couldn’t sell through of what they had the distribution centers wouldn’t send them more product. It probably went to other stores in the districts that sold through the product or to other distribution centers whose stores were moving them.
And Bill did say well before Series 3 even hit that WalMart was dropping the line. So it probably was a lower production run than the first two sets, because WalMart had already said they were cancelling it.

I only saw this set one time, first thing in the morning at a Walmart 45 minutes away from me. I checked Brickseek and the number increased by 8 overnight so I went to chance it. So happy I went against my better judgement and took the drive.

I never saw series 3. I was lucky enough to snag an Alundra Blayze when I saw her. I only saw her once at an out of town Walmart.

GOD i wish another company would take over the legends aspect of everything! So somebody should 1) Start their own toy company 2) Hire designers and factories that can ripoff Mattel's molds 3) Sign legends to figure deals (most of them can be found at an indy show or wrestling convention) 4) Produce figures and sell to stores?

It sucked that Walmar'ts site seemed to only have 1 available at a time to buy and didn't have Roberts, Race and Steamboat available at the same time to get to free shipping as I was passing on the Austin
