Does anyone else consider the Hardcore Ring the best ring of all time?
Maybe it’s because it was my first ring as a kid, and I had so many fun times with it. Size-wise to this day I feel like it still holds up as a great ring. I actually already have one from my childhood and recently got it all hooked up with Smackdown 2001 apron and ropes. I had a few extra posts from the Ring Gear sets, but last night I accidentally broke one, and now I’m down to the last 4 that are on my ring, 3 originals and 1 Ring Gear.
There’s an obvious difference between those style posts as it is, and it’s scary thinking I could break another accidentally and not have any ring at all. So I felt the urge to buy another. Grabbed one for $70 on eBay. How do you guys feel about this ring ?

I came in here to post just that. This was by far the best ring ever released imo. I loved it as a kid. The ring gear with ropes and aprons you could buy, the space under the ring for the tables and weapons. It was just a great ring overall. It may have been able to be a tad bigger but it was good in size also. I have a lot of memories with that ring. I still have mine somewhere along with all different ring skirts. I don’t think I ever had the raw ones though

Still have mine displayed with the "Chaos in the Cell" that was advertised on the box as a Hell in a Cell, but was actually just a regular cage. It's an awesome cage accessory though. I do have a WrestleMania 18 and Smackdown ring skirt, but I unfortunately never found the Ring Gear posts. If I could find some for a decent price, I would definitely get them, but they seem to be pretty scarce nowadays. Definitely a great ring that fits pretty good with Mattel figures, even if it isn't to scale.

My favourite ever ring, for the reasons already listed. Lots of ways to customise, a decent size and the space for weapons. I was so psyched when I got for my birthday back in '01!

I liked the monster ring as well although the hardcore ring was far more accurate in size. also you can’t beat that under ring weapon storage capability.

I think it could be considered the best ring once it had all the necessary accessories (deluxe turnbuckle posts, steel stairs, ring apron etc) It also seemed to be the most accurately scaled ring too, the Real Scale Rings were far too big but just look how perfect the setup in the top left corner looks? On a side note, did Jakks release barricades prior to the Metal Vengeance Arena and were the non-RSR Hell In The Cell/Money In The Bank playset rings the same size as the Hardcore Ring?

I found this out when buying a used ring, thinking it was the same size as the hardcore ring. It's a shame Jakks didn't keep releasing more of the ring gear and make them more available. The ring posts and certain ring skirts and ropes were quite hard to come by.

It’s still the best ring of all time! I was lucky to pick one up again for my collection a couple years ago for $100 AUD with all the grapple gear ring posts and apron sets and ropes etc! Need to buy another one so I can have a a raw and smackdown ring

I ing love that picture of the setup. I have that Smackdown Stage as my entrance stage , and the Smackdown Hardcore ring set up just like that as well. I would always look at the floor mats and barricades as a kid and wish I had those, but they never came out as far as I know. Got another Hardcore Ring MOC on the way

Didn't the Hardcore ring come with a Jim Ross figure? There was an exclusive that came with him and the announce table There was also the 'Ring of Turmoil' that came with the announcers table and a Chris Jericho figure. Edit: And a Triple H Figure. Just googled it, it's actually a really cool set.

Didn't the Hardcore ring come with a Jim Ross figure? I had one I got from Kmart that came with JR, Mick Foley and Earl Hebner along with the announce table.

The one I just got today was the original one they put out. Never opened. This thing is beautiful. Now I have my original hardcore ring from when I was a kid all refurbished and fixed up, as well as this new one which is beautiful. I love the Wrestlemania XVII stickers which was a completely made up logo but still really nice to look at.
What did you guys do with tour WWF Stickers they came with? There’s one big one and two smaller ones. The big one looks like it should go right in the center, and maybe the smaller ones on opposite corners ?

I usually would use them for stage set ups.

Love that ring. Still have it, just missing one of those little pieces that keeps the wrestling mat and ring connected. I Also use to use the grapple gear on that ring too. My go to ring for storing TLC accessories under it.
