I was kinda upset I wasn’t going to wrestlemania this year but I may just not end up being too upset

You don’t understand why people hate a heel? What about people who hate faces? I don’t know why you used a wink face but it’s all a matter of opinion, you could love or hate a bad guy, you could love or hate a good guy but it’s pretty obvious why people would dislike a heel.

Corbin is not a worthy enough wrestler to be Kurt Angle's last opponent. Hopefully WWE swerves us, but they've let me down so many times I wouldn't be surprised if they actually go with the match.

Did any of you guys stop and think that maybe Kurt picked out Corbin to face? Maybe that's who he wanted.

I'm not expecting them to dig up the corpse of Benoit and have another Royal Rumble 2003 classic, but this isn't about putting on a technical masterpiece. It's meant to be a special moment for Kurt. This is his final match ever supposedly and I think him taking on Cena will be way more enjoyable even if both aren't what they used to be in the Ring.
Also, I love when things come full-circle and this has the opportunity to be one of those Wrestlemania moments they replay every year.
More people are mad at WWE for choosing Corbin not necessarily Corbin himself. I'm not a fan of his, but can admit the hate is being misdirected.

If this is really his last match, what a disgrace. Of all the dream matches that the fans (and Kurt himself) wanted and had talked about for years, you can't tell me this guy was Kurt's pick for an opponent. Not to mention, hasn't he faced him multiple times already between TV and live shows over the last year? A match against Cena would've been perfect for Kurt's career to come full circle. Even challenging for the US Title would've worked considering how widely-respected Joe is backstage, and also him going out challenging for the US Title would've been great given Kurt's background and everything. I can't possibly think of any other opponent who would've been a more bland and boring choice. Even worse, I could especially see Kurt losing, too, because this is such a lackluster last match that few people will probably even care what the end result is. What a sad way for Angle's career to end as someone who was a big fan of him throughout his entire career.

I think the way they announced it was kinda lame, but I don’t mind the match. Corbin has begun to figure out who he is as a performer, and honestly, as someone who is going to Wrestlemania I don’t need Angle in a long drawn out match at this point in his career making the show longer than it’s already going to be.
Give me a short match where Angle can pick up a quick win and end his career on a positive note.

angle’s body retired in tna anyways...
would be nice to see a better story built but I’m not surprised and am happy Kurt is getting a sendoff either way.

The commentary team on both raw and SD this week said “the WWE universe very vocal about not being happy with Angles final opponent “
I honestly don’t see it actually being Corbin

All I know is Kurt was sucking air on Monday after his match with Gable. He could barely get off the mat. I'm legit worried about the guy.

And what wrestler has stayed "retired". He will rest like he should and maybe wrestle one more vs Cena. Plus he's giving this kid the rub he needs.

Easily a letdown. They’d be stupid to go forward with this match. But it’s WWE... so.....

I really hope they do the match, just so everyone will be pissed. I mean, it's pretty pathetic to bitch about this match choice when there are actually way more important things to complain about: Joe not having had a Wrestlemania feud until this year, Nakamura being a ing jobber, 3MB Sheepshagger being pushed to the moon for no reason at all, Lesnar still holding the stupid red piece of trash, The Undertaker (!) not having a match yet, Braun feuding with some non-wrestling dudes, Wyatt being kept off TV, the Tag Team division being treated like a joke, Roode playing a heel, Apollo Crews not being used correctly, 205 Live being irrelevant, Aleister teaming with Prince Puma, Maverick replacing Ellering... Edit: Yeah, Baron isn't the best wrestler. So what? There are so many worse things that could happen. Be happy it's not Drew facing Kurt.

They are going to have a No Hair vs No Hair match. The winner gets a hair transplant.

WWE fans: "We want new stars!!"
Kurt Angle chooses Baron Corbin
WWE fans: "Boooo, why Corbin?? He's not a main event star!"

I'm not particularly happy about any of this. Kurt freaking Angle, in my opinion the greatest of all time, relegated to a low card match against someone that nobody genuinely cares about. I so wish it could be different.....but then reality sets in and hits you in the face. As much as it pains me to say it Kurt is toast. He hasn't had a good singles match during his return yet, and Gable looked sad on Monday facing his idol. Maybe it was psychology, but it looked pretty real. The fans are being polite, but they're losing patience. It doesn't matter who he'd be facing, its going to be tough to watch - and it breaks my heart to say it. At this point I think Hogan could have a better match, at least he knows how to work within his limitations. Kurt still wants to be the cyborg, and no matter how hard I try I can't stop waiting for him to come out and crap up! The saddest fact of all is that a match with Joe or Bryan would be wasted on Kurt in his current state. Cena would've still been the ideal choice, but he may not legally be able to wrestle because movie.

Angle doesn't deserve anything. Sure he put in his time a long while ago in the WWE but like it was said, Angle just can't go anymore. He can have a basic "fight" with Corbin. Neither of these guys are going to do flying head scissors or frankensteiners. And besides, Angle has a storyline with Corbin and this match will be the blow off to it. I personally don't think Angle deserves this match to be at Mania. He could have had it last week in Pittsburg where he is from and started his journey to the Olympics and yadda yadda yadda.
It'll be a short and sweet match and I do think Angle should do the favor on his way out. It's the right thing to do in this business. And the heat Corbin would have after that would be really good. Might even save him from me wanting him to be released after Mania.

The trouble with this Match, is it means that if it does stay this way, then the crowd will be disappointed when there is no swerve on the night and Cena doesn't come out, and it'll ruin Kurt's moment. I still think it's going to be John Cena, and they're just using Corbin to buy themselves through a few Raw's. Angle's post doesn't convince me though as he's even tried to sell the match further by acknowledging that he knows it's not the most popular option with the fans.
Kurt Angle is my favourite of all time, and while Kurt Angle vs Undertaker is one that never got to happen on the big stage, it makes no sense at all at this point. John Cena is the best choice, considering the fairytale full circle that would come. I'd be surprised if the Cena Match went any longer than 5/6 minutes, but it would be great if Angle tapped out Corbin in very quick fashion, and then Cena came out for a huge face off and they had a solid 15 minute bell-to-bell in true Angle fashion.
