Ashley Elizabeth counters, sliding underneath her opponent and gets her on her back Twisting her legs into a pretzel, the blonde daughter of a former world champion arches her back, adding more pressure onto Saraya Jade’s legs. The pale-skinned wrestler scratches the mat, fighting through the pain. locks her opponent in the Figure-8 with the Brit close to submitting!
Mesh, on the other hand is on the top rope. She jumps off, contorting her body into a ball…
“Oh!! 630!! Mesh just landed on top of Ashley Elizabeth! Her back must be broken!”
All three women are down as the crowd chants their approval in complete synch.

Elizabeth and Jade are the first two up, both eyeing each other on opposite sides of the ring.
“These two have such animosity towards each other, just look at their eyes Sammy!” “Phat” Matt Taco pounds on the announce table in total excitement. His broadcast partner, Sam Yoogie watches on with zero expression on his face. “Yeah.”
By booing the hell out of him.
A thumb to the eye, a move that Elizabeth could only learn from her father causes her opponent to flinch and turn her back. This allows The Queen to go for Natural Selection but Jade shoves her off!
“End of Days! She’s going for End of Days!”
On the outside, Mesh fights out of the predicament with the former world champion, grabbing the tie out of his hand, wrapping them around her fist and drilling him in the face as he falls backwards, albeit comically as if imaginary birds were circling around his head.
She hears the impact of the fisherman’s DDT and slides underneath the ropes to break the count at two and three quarters! A deafening whoa follows!
“Mesh has got Saraya Jade set for Raze, the devastating piledriver. Not many have kicked out of that move.”
“Yeah, man but how badly does Saraya want to keep her title?”
The finishing move is countered into the fisherman’s DDT, otherwise known as End of Days!

The Brit can’t believe it! She picks Mesh up and hooks her leg, going for another End of Days but Mesh reverses it and hits Saraya with Raze!

The Queen suddenly emerges from the outside after taking a strategic breather, throwing Saraya to the outside and taking Mesh down with a running spear!

Mesh kicks out!
Thunderous response from the crowd that want to see Mesh win the title for the first time ever! Ashley, on the other hand is furious. She argues with the referee about the count which he solemnly swears was two.
Ashley goes to pick up her opponent but Mesh grabs Ashely’s arm, blocking the shots and kicks her in the back of the head.
She’s stunned!
“Raze! Raze! Mesh hits Ashley Elizabeth with Raze! Mesh is going to win her first title right here, right now!”
The crowd nearly blows the roof off the Talking Stick Resort Arena as Ashley lies on the mat, her arms and legs extended out in from of her as Mesh slowly makes her way to the top.
“Mesh going for the one-two. If she hits Ashley with the 630, I don’t like the chances of her kicking out after those.”
“I’m just prepared to go deaf once this crowd goes crazy for Meshie! She's worked so hard to get to this point and nothing will stop her now!”

Somehow, someway Ashley Elizabeth kicks out!
“What?! What?! What?!”
"My thoughts exactly."
The crowd can’t believe it, and neither can Mesh! As she goes to stand up, Saraya Jade rolls her up from behind!

Ring announcer Jane Paquette enters the ring amidst the chaos, “Here is your winner and still the AWF Women’s Champion…..Saraya Jade!”
“WHAT!? Mesh had the match won!”
“Unbelievable. Saraya Jade and Mesh may be friends but when the gold is up for grabs, it's anyone's game.”
The crowd isn’t happy that Mesh didn’t win but they’re just as happy knowing that Ashley didn’t. They react accordingly to Saraya Jade as she raises her women’s championship above her head, almost tearing up.
Her celebration is cut short though…
“OH!”
“Even though Ashley Elizabeth lost the match, she’s letting everyone here know that she is still The Queen.”
Saraya Jade’s back was introduced to a cold, steel chair. The champion falls forward, reaching for her back as Ashley looks on with a smirk on her face. She hands the chair over to her platinum haired father who’s cheering and jeering. You could almost say that he’s woooooo’ing.
Mesh goes to help her friend but instead, the chair connects with her head, courtesy of “Animal Boy” Richard Elizabeth. Loud boos ensue. With a handful of hair, she throws the champion to the outside and bashes her head against the ring steps!
“This is sickening!”
As the champion tries to recover, Ashley moves the ring steps and sandwiches her ankle in between. As her woo’ing father watches on, he hands his daughter the chair. Like a predator stalking its wounded prey, she smashes the steps, crushing and possibly, shattering the champion’s ankle! She lets out a piercing yelp!
“We need help out here.”
With the chair still in hand, Ashley turns her head and sees Mesh laid out. With another smirk, she goes back inside the ring and unleashes a flurry of chairshots across Mesh’s body! Across her face, chest, stomach, legs. Each hit causes Mesh to flinch, Ashley screaming enraged as the chair starts to bend! The crowd proceeds to throw trash at the Royal Family as AWF security make their way to the ring. Ashley throws the deformed chair onto the mat so hard that makes a noise. The two leave the ring as the crowd nearby shouts obscenities and make finger gestures at them. The middle finger, you know?

“That’s Trace and that’s Thunder!”
Two little dark haired furballs roll around on Kat’s hard wood floor. Looks like Trace is winning. The rest of Kat’s cats; Joey, Johnny, Dee Dee and Tommy scratch and sniff the little guys, not sure what to make of them.
Joey and Johnny then start fighting, just like the men they were named after did.
“Ugh, those are pretty bad names.”
“Hey, I didn’t pick them! I think one of the backstage people did.”
Kat simply makes a face.
“What are you naming them then??”
With no hesitation or thought, Kat blurts out, pointing at the darker of the two loveable balls of fuzz, “You’re Marky and you are…”
She stops and thinks.
Which obscure member of the Ramones will she pick?!
“Which name sounds better? CJ, Elvis or Richie?”
“Hmm…..Richie! That’s what I named my purple panda plushie!”
“Richie it is then.”
The light grey kitty sorta jumps onto Kat’s boot in approval of his new name. Mesh giggles and claps enthusiastically.
“Wait, there was an Elvis Ramone?”
“Briefly, for like two shows but still, he was with them when they just started to sound like ass live but in my book he was a Ramone.”

The two friends don’t talk much as they are too busy watching and slowly falling in love with the kittens.
“Thank you for getting them for me, dude. I love them already!”
“Of course,” she says, “I know one of your life goals is to be an irl crazy cat lady.”
“I’m at six cats now. Once I acquire CJ and Elvis, I’ll be at eight and eight is more than enough to qualify for that title, right?”
Mesh just laughs.
Suddenly, there’s a knock on Kat’s outside door.
And then it opens.
“What’s up?” a high-pitched yet raspy voices says.
“Yo.”
It’s Ran, Kat’s friend and local squatter. Mesh looks at the skinny man and waves.
“Hey you.”
His long, stringy hair is wet, and the green is starting to fade, wearing the same exact clothes he wore last time Mesh saw him: an old Hate is your Mistress shirt, baggy pants are disheveled and dirty, and his combat boots have seen better days.
Exactly like last time.
“Hi!”
“So, listen. I wanted to say sorry for how I was when I last saw you,” the punk says, “I was a little stoned, but it was still rude.”
Mesh and Kat look at each other, with Kat making a surprised look.
“Oh no, it’s okay! That was sweet.”
It’s a little awkward now; both Mesh and Ran feel it so he quickly changes the subject.
“So, hey Kat, good s**t on your match in Vegas.”
Kat just nods, the kittens are more important.
“I know right? Wasn’t she great?”
“Everyone at the shelter told me to give you their regards.”
Kat finally looks up from her loveable, huggable hairy buddies, “Wait, how did you all get pay-per-view?”
“Lancelot jerry-rigged it so we could all watch it. You know how he is with electronics and stuff.“
Mesh’s eyes widen.
“You know a guy named Lancelot, like one of the Knights of the Round Table?!”
Ran just nods with a confused tone in his voice, “I don’t know what that is, his name is just Lance.”
A faint snicker from Kat, who has her hands full of kitty.
“You don’t know who the Knights of the Round Table are?!”
“I’m not too familiar with knights and medieval times but I used to work at a Medieval Times.”
“Oh my God! That’s my favorite restaurant, well it used to be anyway.”
“What happened? You realize that the food there isn’t all that great?”
Mesh laughs but retorts, “Nahh, I’m vegan now.”
Ran seems interested, crossing his arms and leaning against the backdoor, “Wow, that’s cool. I’ve never met a vegan before. I thought they were supposed to be a**holes or something?”
Mesh laughs again, “There’s a couple of loco ones out there but most vegans are wonderful people!”
"Well, you certainly are one of the wonderful ones."
Mesh blushes, Kat shakes her head.
“I couldn’t go vegan, man but much respect to you.”
“Aww, thanks!”
The two are quiet except for the sounds of Kat playing her six kittens.
“Well, just thought I’d stop by and put Kat over for her match,” he heads for the door, “Isn’t that what wrestlers say?”
“Something like that.”
Mesh smiles at the skinny man as he heads for the door. He waves at the two women and they wave back. Once the door is closed, Kat immediately turns and looks at Mesh.
“Well, that’s the first time he’s been super social like that.”
“What do you mean?”
“He has social anxiety,” she sets down a kitten and turns her body to face Mesh, “He rarely talks to people except those he knows well so yeah, that was a bit strange coming from Randall.”
“He’s pretty nice though.”
“He is a good guy, he does a lot for me.”
"Wow, someone you actually like!"
Kat laughs sarcastically.
Mesh noticed Kat’s silence during that whole conversation. Her curiosity is tingling.
“Why are you so…dismissive about your comeback to wrestling?”
“First of all, it’s not a comeback.” Kat says sternly, “I only accepted the match because it was my one chance to punch that witch in the face. What was I supposed to do? Just sit there and watch her break your face?”
“You were amazing though, you really roughed Anna up,” her eyes veer onto Kat’s floor where Dee Dee and Tommy are playing with the laces from Mesh’s shoes, “I just wish you would realize that wrestling is what you were meant to do.”
Kat scoffs, “I was defending your honor, dude. I didn’t do it because deep down inside, I want to be a wrestler again. I did it to show everyone in that company that nobody messes with you.”
“I know you did and I really appreciate you standing up for me but –“
“My wrestling days are behind me and I know it sucks to hear that but it’s true.”
More silence.
“Want to know something? Sleater offered me a contract.”
Mesh looks up with glee in her eyes, “What?”
Kat certainly didn’t stutter.
“Sleater offered me a WFWF contract.”
“She did?”
She nods.
“And? What happened?”
“I turned it down.”
Whatever light was in Mesh’s eye dissipates.
“I don’t trust Sleater. The way she looked at me and how…cunning she came across just rubbed me the wrong way.”
“I hear that a lot, but she’s always been nice to me –“
“Umm…when are you going to stop taking the easy way out, Frank?”
The infamous line from Breakout that Kat still holds a grudge over after all this time. She really empathizes the easy way out part, again sarcastically.
“Speaking of Frank, I don’t trust him either.”
“Why? You say that all the time, but you never say why.”
“Because he’s in the wrestling business, the most cutthroat business there is. Nobody in the wrestling business is your friend, the dude has an agenda.”
Kat is getting upset and Mesh knows it.
“Those motherf**kers at the AWF are to blame and that alone was enough to just –“
She’s fuming, “Just made me to not to take part in that s**t. Ever again.”
She stops and sighs.
“I only did it for you and as far as I’m concerned, I beat The Witch and that’s that.”
“The f**king company didn’t even air the match until after the show! What kind of s**t is that?”
The fiery redhead takes a deep breathe.
“I just don’t want you to get screwed like I did, that’s all.” Kat places her hand on Mesh’s shoulder, realizing that deep down – she’s right, “You deserve better than that.”
Mesh smiles at the compliment.
“I’ll stop trying to convince you then.”
“You certainly are persistent. You’re actually worse than those guys that think they're hot s**t with women.”
A chuckle by the Vanguard Knight.
“It’s part of my charm, is it not?”
“I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
Mesh awkwardly changes the subject.
“I just keep thinking about going back to Arizona for the next show.”
“Yeah, I figured but you’ll be fine. When do you guys leave?”
“In two days, bright and early in the morning.” Mesh shudders at the thought, “I hate that place.”
“Nothing ever good happens there and now I’m in a big match against three of the best guys on the roster,” she says, “Not the best time to have an anxiety attack.”
Kat stays quiet, unable to relate for once.
“If you go into the match with that mindset, you’re going to fail.”
Kat puts her arm around her best friend.
“Everything that happened to you and your mom in Arizona was supposed to happen because that made you guys stronger in the end. Take it from me, dude.”
“I know. You’re the strongest person I know and it’s safe to say -the toughest.”
A faint chuckle from Kat, who scoffs at the compliment.
“Nahh, Mama Bear is. You doubt yourself way too much.”
Mesh nods in agreement.
“You should stop doing that. You’re a damn good wrestler and just the fact that you stepped up is going to make people watch and pay attention to you.”
"No pressure, right?"
“The best thing about this match is that any one of you is believable enough to win the whole thing – and you know the crowd is going to be behind you and you know I’m rooting for you.”
Mesh feels better now. A little bit better but better nonetheless.
“You can do this!”
In a strange coincidence, all six of Kat’s kitten claw their way up Kat’s couch and beg for their attention. The tag team gives it to them, which in turn calm Mesh’s nerves.
Followed by a beaming smile.
“Thanks. You’re seriously the best.”

“What’s wrong, sweetie?”
Mesh is sobbing uncontrollably, her wails make her mother uncomfortable as she watches on, hopelessly unable to help her daughter.
Tears drip onto her phone screen as it brightly stays lit on the webpage that's just broken the story on the death of her hero, her biggest inspiration and ultimately, her favorite person in music ever – Keith Flint.
“Keef died,” she says, almost garbled, “I just found out about it.”
“The Firestarter?”
Mesh just nods, unable to control her emotions. Sadness on top of anxiety.

She even managed to get a high-five from the late singer when he dove into the crowd.

A crumbled piece of architecture, black and charred lies dormant. Where there was once grass is now dirt, everything has rotted away. The wooden beams are white and ashy, very sensitive to the touch.
“How long has it been?”

“Yeah, it got pretty bad after Nana died.”
It’s her childhood home, which is now a heap. She sees the garage where she would play with her cousins, when they all got along. That’s where Tata had the N64 hooked up for all of them to play. Memories of playing Army Men: Sarge’s Heroes on the Beach map or the Heist mode on Conker’s Bad Fur Day suddenly come back to her vividly. She was always Mr. Blue, for the record. Amidst the faint breeze brushing alongside the passenger seat window, she hears the song that would play on the Beach map and gently bops her head to the imaginary beat that only she can hear.
At this point, Mesh realizes she’s alone in the car as she sees her mother reminiscence at her first house when she came to the United States with her siblings. The wind blowing through her grayish hair.
The broken lightbulb that was never fixed is still there, albeit rusted and nearly disintegrated. She remembers when the light bulb was originally broken, playing baseball with her cousins. Mesh was the pitcher and her oldest cousin David was up to bat. David’s youngest brother, Jon was the catcher, giving Mesh random hand signals which meant nothing.
The pitcher takes a deep breath, winds up and gently tosses the ball towards her cousin who leans back and hits a line drive – right into the lightbulb by the front door.

Afraid, David and Jon run away, both of them blaming Mesh. Her aunt and uncle punished her, but Mama Bear knew her daughter better; just one of the many issues that plagued and eventually tore the Villagomez family in half.
She still remembers that, and it hurts her.
Those were the days when the family was still together.
Not anymore.
Everything fell apart once the family the matriarch died.
As if all of that wasn’t bad enough, it was here where she last saw her father.
William dropped her off at eight in the morning, Mama Bear came out from the inside the house, still in her pajamas.

Those words still haunt her to this day.
“Freeze!”
Mesh hears a loud shouting, forcing her to take both earbuds out. The next thing she sees is her mother pointing both arms straight into the air, walking towards the wall down the driveway which has been vandalized with a police officer pointing a gun at her mother!
Mesh quickly leaves the vehicle, slowly approaching the officer.
“What are you doing here? Trespassing?”
“She’s not trespassing! We used to live here!”
The officer quickly turns his attention to Mesh, a .9mm Baretta pointed right at her.
The anxiety is already causing her heart to beat fast, but Mesh has never had a gun pointed at her, so it feels like her heart is going to burst out of her chest in fear.
The Vanguard Knight immediately puts her hands up in the air as well.
The man’s voice was deep, almost chocolatey. With her hands still up in the air, he orders Mesh to walk slowly over next to her mother. She can feel the gun pointed at her even though she can’t see it.
“Turn around! Slowly!”
“Dispatch, I got a 712 in progress. Suspects are female; one is older than the other, assuming it’s a mother and daughter.”
Mama Bear and her daughter face the man in uniform whose Barretta with a flashlight attachment is still directed at her, painting the back of her head with a circle of light.
“Now, ma’am I’m going to ask you to slowly reach in your pocket and show me any form of identification, understand?”
Without saying a word, Mama Bear slowly veers her hand into her pocket before swinging her hand back around, placing it on the wall with her ID in hand.
The officer walks by and grabs it, examining it. His focus goes from Mama Bear, back to her ID and back to Mama Bear.
“You’re Maria Villagomez?”
“That’s what it says, isn’t it?”
Ballsy. Even Mesh smiled at that.
He then puts the gun back in the holster that’s attached to his belt.
“Umm, it’s James.”
Mama Bear looks puzzled.
“James Patterson?”
“Like the author?” Mesh says, slowly turning around with her arms still in the air as well.
“Sweetie!”
“Mesh? The Mesh?”
With her hands still in the air, Mesh simply smiles.
“Maria, Mesh is your daughter?”
Mama Bear takes her hands off the wall, turning to face the cop.
“I’m sorry but who are you?”
“We went to high school together, remember?”
Nothing.
“I was at that party in the park, remember? I was playing volleyball and –“
Mama Bear sighs, although faintly.
“Oh yeah! I remember now!”
“You know him, mom?”
“Yeah, it’s okay.”
“Dispatch, false alarm. I repeat, false alarm.”
Suddenly, Mesh’s rapid heart rate slows down, her anxiety wanes and she feels a bit better but she's still sad about Keef.
“Sorry for scaring you. We get calls here all the time for trespassing and vandalism, obviously,” pointing at the driveway wall, splattered with graffiti. “So, we take that sort of thing seriously.”
“Don’t worry about it, you were just doing your job.”
“You used to live here?”
“Yeah, it was my grandmother’s house. When my brother and sister and I came to the United States, we came to live here for…12 years?”
“Yeah, I remember your brother; Chuy, was it? How is he?”
Mama Bear and Mesh look at each other, Mesh clearing her throat.
“We don’t…associate with him anymore. Or my sister. Or anyone from my side of the family.”
“Oh,” the officer says, “That’s not good. I’m sorry.”
“It’s okay. They’re awful people. They’re family, yeah but they’re awful people.”
Mama Bear, quick to change the subject leans back, crossing her arms, “What about you? How have you been?”
“Things have been okay. I got two kids now; both girls. The worst thing in my life is having to deal my psycho ex-wife.”
She groans, divorce with a crazy ex-partner is always ugly.
“That doesn’t sound very fun at all!”
“Yeah. According to her, I was an awful father and alcoholic husband who would beat his kids on a daily basis which is a total lie. Since she’s the mom, the court usually sides with her which is total bulls**t!”
Mother and daughter are taken aback.
“Pardon my French.”
“I’m sorry to hear that.”
“No skin off my nose. We couldn’t stand each other near the end anyway.”
The officer digs around in his pocket for his wallet and shows the two a picture of his little girls. Both have piercing green eyes with blond hair, almost looking like twins. Mama Bear smiles at the affection he has for his daughters. Officer James then looks at Mesh.
“My girls love you, by the way.”
“Really?”
“Yeah, they have a ton of pictures of you on their wall. I didn’t even know they liked wrestling until they kept talking about this Mesh girl!”
All three of them laugh.
“How did you even get that kind of name anyway? ‘Mesh’”
“It’s kinda dumb. It’s nothing interesting or anything.”
“She used to go to a lot of those rave festivals when she was younger.”
“Is that right?”
“Pretty much.”
“And I’m guessing you always wore mesh and that’s how the name stuck?”
“Pretty much.”
“You know, it’s funny,” he begins, mimicking Mama Bear by leaning back against his squad car, crossing his muscular arms, “When I first started on the force, I arrested this big time drug dealer that would hang out at those things. He’d go all around the country. His name was Sharky, sold drugs to kids all the time.”
Mesh gulps.
“Wait, you arrested him?”
“You knew him?”
“Yeah, I would always see him at the raves I went to. He was super nice to me, he always brought me bags of gummy sharks since he knew I wasn’t into drugs or anything.”
“Well, isn’t that nice?” the officer says, sarcastically, “Sounds like you were one of the few kids that he didn’t sell drugs to.”
“I was never a fan of those things myself,” Mama Bear now chiming in, “The way those kids would dress and such and I would hear stories about them taking acid and pills and such.”
“Nothing ever happened, mom. Sure, there were people popping pills and such, but I went there only to dance and for the music.”
An audible tisk from the man in blue.
“That’s what they all say, am I right?”
The officer and Mama Bear both laugh, Mesh sorta grins.
“Well, I should really get back to the station. I’m so sorry for the misunderstanding earlier, I hope you understand.”
“Of course. Don’t worry about it!”
“It was really nice catching up with you, Maria!”
“Same to you!”
The officer walks around to the driver’s seat of his squad car.
“And Mesh –“
The Vanguard Knight looks up.
“Good luck in your match! I bought tickets for the girls, so they’ll be cheering you on.”
Any compliment makes Mesh smile.
“Thank you!”
The squad car begins to roar until Mesh gets this itch.
Something’s not right.
With purpose and quick powerwalking, she taps on the window of the squad car before it can vroom away.
“Here. Give these to your girls.”
Mesh hands the man two colorful, handmade bracelets that she made herself with plastic beads. She has dozens of bracelets on her wrist, parting ways with two of her most recent ones won’t hurt.
“Oh no, I couldn’t do that! They’re yours!”
“It’s okay! I give these away to all of my fans.”
He hesitates. Maybe he’s afraid that he’s going to owe Mesh something in the future?
He’s wrong though.
“She really does!” Mama Bear shouts in the distance.
He takes the bracelets almost reluctantly and smiles back at Mesh, “Thank you. They’re gonna love them.”
She waves at the officer as he drives away, Mama Bear approaches her daughter and puts her arm around her.
“Let’s get out of here, yeah?”
“Yes, please!"

Hey guys, it’s Mesh and I’m here in…
She rolls her eyes
Ugh.
Arizona.
No offense to the lovely people that live here, it’s just that I have some history here and it’s not good.
I was born here and according to my mom, nothing ever good has happened here.
That’s why my mom and I moved to California – to get away from this place as far as possible.
Every time I’ve wrestled in Arizona, I’ve lost.
Every.
Single.
Time.
I once got my phone stolen here after a show when I was in the AWF.
During my indy days, the van we would travel in had stuff taken from it.
The old family house, which burned down by the way – was broken into, like soooo many times and my grandparents had their wedding rings stolen on their wedding night.
On.
Their.
Wedding.
Night.
Speaking of wedding rings, one of my aunts took my mom’s wedding ring and pawned it.
Just for the LOLs, I guess.
My dad died in Arizona and most of the family on my mom’s side live here and they’re pretty awful people.
They know we’re here too so…
My aunt has been trying to get a hold of my mom and I.
Think she either forgot about the little scene she caused at the party my mom threw for me when I became the Vanguard Champion.
Or she was too drunk.
Probably both.
Either way, being here has given me anxiety and I hate it.
Not exactly the best mood to be in when I have to get ready for what’s probably – the most important match of my career.
This is my first opportunity at the WFWF World Heavyweight Championship.
The belt.
And I’m in a pretty weird position where I’m, like the favorite to win but at the same time I don’t think anybody expects me to get far considering my opponents.
First, you have Tu-

Tu-gar-rin
Tugarin Zmey, the Dragon.
Probably the coolest name in wrestling history, although my personal favorite is The Dog Who Eats Cheeseburgers
G.O.A.T.
Anyway, he’s big.
He’s massive.
And he’s got a mask!
I’ve been begging the higher-ups of the company to give me a match with The Dragon for months!
Because 1: I love dragons, they’re such a big part of medieval lore and fantasy that as the Vanguard Knight, it was my duty to vanquish the foul beast!
And 2: he’s beaten guys like Drakz and Frank and they are some of the best wrestlers ever. He’s not messing around, he really wants that belt
But you know who wants it more?
Me.
Because I’m the last person anyone ever expected to be a champion, let alone in my first year in the company.
I’m the last person someone like Drakz expects to win, or anyone for that matter.
It’s like, I’m the big bad wolf and Zmey is the house made of bricks.
He’s going to be the toughest but even Ancalagon the Black was defeated.
Just saying.
Next is Eric Draven – I mean, Tyler Draven.
Everytime I see his name, I can’t help but to think of The Crow.
Such a great movie!
"And suddenly, I heard a tapping; as of someone gently rapping

Best part of the movie right there!
Anyway, I don’t know him, like at all so he’s the wildcard here.
I know what he can do, in fact him and I kinda wrestle the same way.
We’ve both lost to Frank too, so we’re the same like that.
He’s good.
Really good.
I mean, he beat a guy like Priceless without breaking a sweat!
I faced Priceless twice and both times, I was sore, and my body was covered in bruises.
Bruises I didn't give myself since getting bruises from absolutely nowhere is one of my greatest talents
He’s the protégé of Trace Demon, a guy I don’t like but also another guy that Frank beat
I dunno, just never was a fan of the guy
Not after what he did to The Franchise at Show Time
I was there, man!
Let’s just hope Draven doesn’t bash my head in with a barbed wire baseball bat because I certainly won’t be laughing that off
Because, you know – I’ll probably be dead
Which brings me to Frank

This is round 2 and I’m ready
I know I am
You’re not the same wrestler you were then, and neither am I
I certainly wasn’t the Vanguard Knight when we first wrestled
I hadn’t beaten Penny or Daphne yet
Heading into this match, I have a bunch of momentum and if I have to run you over since – you know, the Mesh Train and all, I will.
I know that outside the ring, you and I get along great!
In the ring, we’re wrestlers and I get that.
You’re trying to win just like I am.
We both want the same thing.
The only difference is – I want it more.
I have more to prove.
You’re one of the longest reigning International Champions of all-time.
Brag about that, dude!
If Drakz can boast about his 851 day reign, then Frank Lynn can boast about his reign as champion.
You know, it’s funny. Once I heard who all got invited to take part in this Opportunity of a Lifetime, my mind immediately went to a zombie apocalypse.
This scenario plays out in my head, like…
I’m in the middle of a fortress with fortified walls, the windows are sealed and the only way out is through the door down the hall.
A very looooong hallway.
All I hear, aside from my nerves are my footsteps.
Suddenly-
Mesh starts acting out the scenario, using a clothes hanger as her imaginary shotgun.
Three zombies approach me, all different in stature.
The one in the back is massive, a long metallic mask covering his half-rotten face. His skin is full of scales and his footsteps are slow and heavy.
The zombie leading the horde is fast! It’s the zombie with the emo hair from 2007.
I get random memories from my days on MySpace where literally every guy that would hit on me had that same exact hairstyle.
As I make my way closer towards him, he shows his teeth, gnarling at me in an attempt to scare me.
He’s quick, very quick.
He’s gaining on me but with my will to survive at an all time high, I turn the shotgun –
BOOM
Wow, I actually hit him!
Not bad for never firing a gun before, right?
The buckshot hits the zombie in the side of the head, sending it flying!
But the zombie is hungry. Wounded and all, he starts crawling towards me.
But he’s defenseless as I stand over him, aim the shotgun at his head –
BOOM
The moans die with him, but I have to make sure he’s dead.
TAP
Always remember: rule #2: Double tap
I look up and see this mountain of man, I mean zombie approaching me!
He goes to grab me, but he’s too slow and I’m quicker!
BOOM
The massive zombie eats buckshot for breakfast as he continues to stomp his way, closer to me!
I…pump the thing that moves back or whatever and aim at the zombie again-
BOOM
Brain slushie!
The large zombie slumps forward and his massive body crashes and burns on the floor!
I walk towards the body –
TAP
To make sure he’s….really….dead, you know?
Like...dead dead.
I must’ve forgotten that there was three zombies because before I realize what happens, the last zombie stops in front of me.
I recognize him.
It’s an old friend.
Someone that’s helped me out before.
Unlike the other two zombies, this one just…looks at me.
Quite the quandary we’re in.
He wants to survive…but so do I.
Despite his…undead exterior, I know that deep inside he’s that friend of mine that I care about.
I don’t want to shoot him, but I know I have to if I want to survive.
I know that if the roles were reversed, he’d do the same.
I didn’t know it was raining because I can now hear thunder crashing – and once the thunder crashes, he lunges at me!
BOOM
Right in the chest is enough to bring him down but he’s not dead yet.
I stand above him, the shotgun pointed right at him and…I can’t.
I can’t do it.
The zombie just lays there, knowing his fate which makes it all that harder.
I aim right at his heart –
BOOM
He refuses to die....
Great...
As if this wasn't hard enough...
Knowing that it’s either him or me, I fire again – right between the eyes
TAP
With all three obstacles out of my way, I run towards the exit, surviving to fight another day.
That’s how I see this match going down at the show.
Turmeric, Draven and Frank are walls – each one stronger and tougher than the next but I’m a train and I’m going to steamroll through them and get my shot against Drakz.

The Streak Destroyer Destroyer Destroyer vs. The Vanguard Knight
Destoroyah vs. Godzilla
Now I know what you’re saying; “But Mesh, Destoroyah killed Godzilla!”
‘tis true but Destoroyah dies later on, meaning it wasn’t invincible.
And PenPen showed me that neither is Drakz.
If she can do it, who’s to say that I can’t?
Imagine that?
Drakz, the living legend of the WFWF getting dethroned by the little girl with blue hair.
That at point, you guys would have to start calling me Ralph because when I beat Drakz and become the WFWF World Heavyweight Champion – I’m going to break the internet!
Guys like Slipp would have a heart attack, I mean – unless he had one already since no one has heard from him.
To quote Keef, “What you gonna do when the hounds are calling?”
I answered the call and at AriZona Sunshine – I’m running with the wolves.
