I've been using Tamiya's wonderful but expensive flat clear coat, I've already sealed the figure but I want to hand paint a part of the design that I forgot to put on. Can I paint on top of the clear coat and then re-seal again? Or would I have to strip the sealant from the spot I want to paint first? Thanks.

should be fine, but it may scratch a little easier... but if its a flat clear it may be ok.... i paint over clear and have no issues, but u can always give the area u want to paint a little scuff with some very fine sandpaper or scotchbrite first to give the area some tooth for the paint to stick too. hope that helps
