The amount of guys hanging around in WWE doing nothing is staggering. With no productive output why not cut costs and let them go. Its like WWE are holding on to them so other companies cant have them. JTG was a prime example of that. There was a website that had a time clock that counted how long he was employed by WWE

and seriously.... Braun. (he's so useless now, no reason for him to be around anymore) Bray Wyatt (there is nothing that can save this gimmick...ever) Shelton (there is stopping him now.) Chad Gable Nakamura Corbin (pathetic heat isn't good heat) Rusev Corey Graves 99% of 205 Livehow can i even take a thread like this seriously with those responses... WWE's spring cleaning wasn't them releasing popular, always used legit stars. it was about cutting down the roster of some of the jobbers/lower guys to make room for others. so even if they were going to do a cleaning this year, you're legitimately out of your ing mind if you think they would just release the above guys as "dead weight" Cena, Brock and Roman might as well have been on that list. it let's release Vince and HHH too. I like your list.

While there a lot of wrestlers I don’t care for (Shane, MoJo, Lucha House Party, no way Jose, Nakamura to name a few) or I think are used wrong (Braun, B-Team, Bray, Roode, Renee to name a few) I don’t think any deserve to be released. And for the ones not being hilighted on TV on a regular basis doesn’t mean they are really doing nothing except collecting paychecks. Just because they aren’t on TV doesn’t mean they aren’t being utilized on tours or other WWE events. Or helping to enhance other talents.

Can't see many going if any really with the AEW situation. As people have said they will just hang on to people to avoid them going elsewhere.
It will be more interesting to see how many don't end up resigning when their contracts run down. That will give a good insight into whether it's worth the money WWE can offer is enough for everyone nowadays.

Bray Wyatt should absolutely stuck around. IRS comes back and says he's retiring as a tax man but would like Bray to take over his job. Now we get a bunch of vignettes of Bray in a suit and tie with his dad, Bray becomes a tax man character and demands to see Trump's tax return.
