Hey everyone, so for the past 25 years I've been attempting to complete the AAA Kelian set from 1994. Along the way, I've collected quite a few other Lucha figures as well (entire 1992 CMLL OSFTM set, 3 of the 1991 CMLL Future Toys set, Super8 Figures, and all 20 1995 Riccolini figures. Over the past couple years, I've really put forth some serious effort to obtain the rarer Kelian figures. Well, a month ago, I got a message from someone in Germany who had the last one I needed, the Fuerza Guerrera. After some negotiating, I was able to secure it and today it arrived in the mail. Now I'm in possession of the entire set. On top of that, I currently have six of them autographed, and will be going to Mexico City in a year to attempt to get 5 of the 6 I don't have autographed as well (apparently Perro Aguayo has dementia and doesn't make public appearances, so he's out of the question) I did find some cases for the Rey Jr, Santo, and the Vampiro's (the Zoloworld Walking Dead series 1/2 fits perfectly, but not the others), so I guess the next step would be cases for the rest of them, as well as the autographs if any of the five (Fuerza, Heavy Metal, Santo, Cien Caras, Mascara Sagrada) appear locally. Also the actual AAA Lucha company literally posted this collection on their Twitter today and mentioned the set, pretty stoked to see them do that

Very nice collection!
While I do have OSFTM CMLL and Kelian AAA figures in my collection, both MOC & loose, I only own a complete MOC set of the four Future Toys CMLL container figures.

I don't think a lot of people can appreciate the amount of work and dedication that had to go into completing that set. In my estimation it has to be the hardest North American released set to finish. And to think, all you had to do was contact someone in Germany to sell you a figure from Mexico and ship it to the USA!

Congrats man! Well done! If you think about cases, you may wamt to check out sora.de from Germany. They are doing fantastic custom acrylic cases that come unassembled to you and need to be screwed together. Always happy to help a fellow collector, so if you need any assistance just let me know.

A stunning collection, congratulations on completing it. The cards on the AAA Kelian figures are brilliant, so many Lucha legends in these sets.

He was actually the first person I contacted when it showed up in the mail. Said he had never seen the entire set in one picture before

Congrats! I’ve no idea who any of the stars are as I have no familiarity with that product. So I can’t appreciate the rarity/achievement the way it deserves, but I love the packaging, the collection looks awesome.

You should know Psicosis (top row, third from the left) La Parka (directly under Psicosis) and Konnan (next to Parka).

So I can’t appreciate the rarity/achievement the way it deserves, but I love the packaging, the collection looks awesome. No problem buddy, we're all here to help each other. AAA started in Mexico in May of 1992. The promoter, Antonio Pena, learned a lot from Vince McMahon on promoting, both in and out of the ring, so in 1994, he teamed up with a company (I believe Macau) and Kelian was formed, and their only one product line was the AAA figures. These 12 are a great representation of who were the biggest luchadores at the time. 9 of the 12 were readily available throughout Mexico in 1994, and 3 of the 4 (Rey Jr, Psicosis, Mascara Sagrada) only came out in the northern area of Mexico (Tijuana, Baja, Rosarita, Ensenada, etc.). Obviously over the years, finding them mint on card is difficult because people opened them, so the "rare 3" catch a pretty penny. If you're able to find them MOC for less than $500, you got yourself a steal. The others go for $50-120
