So I picked up a Top Talents "Balor Club is for Everyone" Finn at Target yesterday thinking I could do a light and easy customization to make his attire more current. I go to strip the rainbow BC logos on his tights only to discover... they're MOLDED WTF. Both front and back, the logos are raised and molded into the actual black trunks. Which means Mattel went to the trouble of making a brand new mold just for these simple black tights!!
I hope this isn't the norm going forward on the new figs using the latest printing technology. Or is it???

LMAO, yet they won't fill in the belly button on female figs or fix their crappy ab articulation.
EDIT: Are you sure they're sculpted on? I remember stripping logos off a Jericho with acetone and the paint was so thick they looked sculpted, so I had to use sandpaper.

They are. It's the most bizarre thing. I took a dremel to the areas and even after stripping the logo, there are still raised black plateaus. What were they thinking??

Your terminology is astronomically unparalleled.

I think it's just a decal. Mine has texture but I don't think it's molded on.
