With my own eyes I watched a man open up a whole box of 6 x e66 Kevin Owens yesterday and then a box of 6 x e66 AJ Styles. So yes, Mattel do ship 6 x the same figure in one box. They never used to. They do now. I’m presuming stores request some boxes of all the figs in a set and then separate boxes of just who they presume will sell better. Not to add fuel to any fires - but this is definitely correct... Mattel have started to ship entire cases of one figure lately, rather than the "usual" case with a mix/at least one of each. They also did it for the latest Wrestlemania Elites: ie. complete cases of just Hall or just Undertaker, rather than a case with a mix/2 of each. Now, as you were. This is a disgrace, no wonder so many figures are hard to come by lately, how do Mattel explain this?

Ask them, they'll tell you it isnt true. If it happened at all, it would be down to the store in question, which in his case was argos, they would have to have been repacked at the distribution centre, like smyths do when they stick the overstock on top of the racking

I mean this was in an argument between me and Mattelfreak. I was on about distribution problems and why Argos getting Elites isn't working. I went into Argos 2 days in a row, on the first day they had 1 Figure and it was John Cena, yesterday they had 7 figures. 1 John Cena, 6 Braun Strowmans. Now Mattelfreak believes they got 3 cases of E58 and in under 12 hours sold x amount of Cesaro, Sheamus, Hardy and Ambrose figures but 0 Braun's sold. I just think Argos got a case of 1 Braun figure in. Even with NXT Figures some stores had a lot of Rusev's and nothing else but it was harder to put a finger on it because it was the NXT Figures that weren't selling so there was a big case of yeah maybe they just haven't sold.
This is annoying to UK collectors because if it's true Argos is getting cases of 1 figure it ruins the whole process of an assortment and it's taken about a month for Argos to get a delivery of Elites and for it to be 6 Braun's is a little bit annoying and I can't see Argos having Elites this time next year unless it changes.

Also don't bother getting into a debate with this guy 2 guys have seen figures come out of 1 case and he won't believe it. UK clearly have distribution problems and people trying to call us all wrong isn't going to help get it fixed

Its just something the distribution centre might have done, Mattel only pack one character per case for Defining Moments and Entrance Greats Case breakdowns are pretty much the same for any retailer, ringside would be able to provide insight on case breakdowns

The only time I know of them doing that was when a retailer upped their order in which case they just ship whatever figures they had in the factory. I know they have done that once back around 2007-2009 with their DCUC line (the set with the black costume Superman) but then their shipments were messed up or online retailers where they weren’t getting cases of certain figures. So they had to trade case with other online retailers to fill their orders. That was a major cluster. And with the WWE I know of two figures that were packed in solid cases. The first was the first basic Ryback TRU got solid cases. And the second was the first Warrior in the Singlett. (E26?) If it’s happening in the UK maybe the stores there either upped their order or placed another order and Mattel just sent what they had to fill it?

Because case breakdowns are something often discussed on here, and they rarely change, i worked at argos's distribution centre in Basildon, Essex for a while and stock is often opened and repacked for the sake of space and ease of picking And if you go to a smyths and check the top racking you will see the cases, opened but repacked, it makes restocking easier

This would solve the store exclusive problem right up...
Save scalpers having to make multiple trips to get a decent amount of the hard-to-find ones.

Bill already said the reason they are adding the exclusive to the core line was because stores were passing on ordering the core line in favors of more of their exclusives sets.

I think there's better ways of having exclusives without having to put first time in the line Pete Dunne's or Liv Morgan's because if they really cared I doubt Bob Backlund and Harley race would be in them series

Bill already said the reason they are adding the exclusive to the core line was because stores were passing on ordering the core line in favors of more of their exclusives sets. Maybe offer retailers a deal. Give them a 2-4 per case exclusive figure with every two cases of core Elite purchase. That way the exclusive incentive remains, figures have better availability to customers, and the ratio of supply-to-demand doesn't become oppressively out of whack. But then the extra shipping costs would probably be a big enough issue to deflate that idea...

I dont know what to think. idk but 2 people have seen cases being opened to just having 1 figure, I would say this could be an accident or a weird thing but also seems to be new and 100% could stop within a month, Mattel could have extra cases of figures and shipping them over but it's hard to not be concerned

Isnt Mattel the same company that shipped boxes upon boxes of nothing but Buzz Off of MOTU in the 1980s? 😉
I mean, why not?

When I worked at my local Target when we got NXT Elite Series with Ember Moon in the set we never ever got the Ember Moon we got everyone else but her and my local targets in my area have yet to receive NXT series 4 but I will give my local Walmart credit they are actually current with elites at Series 66
