I don't know what's more amazing about this -- how brutal his pedigree looks or watching Andre bump and fly across the ring.
Good. Damn. I think he was trying to legit murder Inoki-san.

Andre really was awesome in his prime. It's a shame most people are more familiar with the latter of his career.

Jake the Snake said on a podcast that Andre when he first started can do a moonsault off the top rope and land on his feet

That’s the Andre I wish people would remember. I loved his heel run in WWF, but he was a shell of his former self.

Andre really was awesome in his prime. It's a shame most people are more familiar with the latter of his career. I doubt that Vince would have let Andre do these kinds of moves in the 80s. I've heard several wrestlers, including Hogan and Nash, say that Vince didn't like his big guys selling moves unless they were in matches against other main-eventers. He wanted them to seem superhuman, so he instructed them to do things like go down to a knee or go into the corner when their opponents were on the offensive.

Awesome. That was a brutal looking move. He was extremely talented and doesn't get the credit he deserves since the majority, myself included, are more familiar with his WWF work when injuries took their toll.

I mean Vince was selling his big stars. You aren’t going to have some 5 foot 4 guy beat him up. Makes him look weak. I never saw this clip and never watched much Andre but I think I might have to get into his stuff

I don't know why people are surprised about this.
Andre has been doing these types of moves for years, ever since he put on a mask and goes by the name of Rey Mysterio now.

Jake the Snake said on a podcast that Andre when he first started can do a moonsault off the top rope and land on his feet Well Andre started at. 6,8 250lb man as opposed to his full size so it’s inoreasive, but not improbable

This is the first time I've seen any of Andre's non-WWF work and I am blown away.
