Quick question for anyone who has purchased an Elite figure through Amazon - how has it arrived? I am a MOC collector and thinking of buying an Elite 55 Undertaker on there but i was wondering how anyone else's experience has been when receiving a figure off of there. Thanks!

I've had the same concerns over the same figure lol. I bought one Taker over the holidays last year in good shape but it was delivered as part of a big haul. Opened that one, wish I'd kept the box...
Like other online purchases, it's a mixed bag. I've gotten some that don't have a ding or dent, I've gotten others with the top tabs completely bent because of the box they forced it in.

Yeah I'm just hoping if I do purchase it, that they choose a large enough box not to cram it into.

Is Amazon the seller or 3rd party? It’s kind of a mixed bag for me ordering thru Amazon (I’m MOC too). No guarantees the figure box will be to your liking, and I’ve also had the plastic cracked due to it being shipped in a yellow mailer bag. So, sometimes I’ll take a chance on them with new figures that come out, but if I’m ordering an older figure that is only sold 3rd party or fulfilled by amazon I’ll trust the 3rd party more for the packaging they send (and more than likely a better MOC box).

I previously had a prime membership and was buying a majority of my figures in there but I have that up because it was inconsistent with each shipment. Some good some bad. It became a hassle to have to mail them back... I didn't like supporting a billion dollar company that doesn't pay taxes either but that's a separate issue. If you do MOC I would stay away. Ringside prices are cheaper if you are willing to wait and they ship real well.

Yeah that's understandable, and I'd totally buy it from RSC if they had him available but they only have a secondary market one and that doesn't guarantee MOC either.

As a loose collector I only recently started buying from Amazon because the prime shipping stuff is awesome ... but yeah, the two I got in the mail had the boxes absolutely destroyed, lol. If I wanted them MOC I would have been super pissed.
May be worth a shot but honestly for MOC I'd recommend Ringside first and eBay second. For just $20 though on Amazon it's not the worst gamble to take, just prepare for the possibility of the worst.

I've bought a ton of figures from Amazon and it really is 50/50. Have had boxes come mint packed with bubble wrap. Have also have them look like they were rolled over by a forklift. I say take the chance. If its not to your standards their return/exchange process is easy.

Yea they don't really out air pillows or anything , luckily they put it in a box not too big so it doesn't move around

And most time that I get damage boxes, it's probably was damaged before it was shipped

And most time that I get damage boxes, it's probably was damaged before it was shipped Right, unless they squeeze it in a small shipping box or the shipping box is noticeably damaged at delivery, then the figure box is highly likely to have been already damaged/dinged when packed at the warehouse. I work at an Amazon warehouse, and even if the figure would arrive in MOC condition it can EASILY become damaged/dinged by the time it’s packed to be shipped.

Well I decided to try my luck and ordered 2 for free shipping. Hopefully I get lucky on at least 1 of them.

Well I decided to try my luck and ordered 2 for free shipping. Hopefully I get lucky on at least 1 of them. 1. Pay for prime. Free shipping with no minimum purchase. You can get so much stuff from them. $120 a year is easily worth it. 2. Take advantage of all the $9-14 elites that are always there. 3. When you do get a bad box it wont sting as much. 4. Enjoy.

If it’s a bad box, return it, and just state that it arrived damaged. They’ll send you another fast. Amazon is real good about returns.
