Or what if he stayed in wrestling after the Rocky III issue with Vince Sr. (He still does it but decides to play it safe afterwards) But what if Hogan decided to stay in wrestling instead of going off to film movies? How would the wrestling world be affected? Would he have lost the title to Warrior at Mania VI? Would Earthquake have squashed him? Would he ever join WCW had he never got into the film industry?

Vince even said that Hogan needed cooling off during that time. So yes, he would have still dropped the belt to Warrior and took time off.

People were getting sick of Hogan and Hulkamania back then. Hogan would have just gone away for a while and come back and been a face. According to Bruce Pritchard, Vince would never pull the trigger on a heel Hogan. So I think he'd be a special attraction more than anything.
