I've finally got a Pete Dunne figure today and while his face scan is almost perfect, he has a pretty big chunk of glue on his hairline. How to easily and safely remove that without scratching the face or loosen up the hair? Couldn't find anything about this problem online so I've thought it's maybe worth a thread. Would really appreciate some help, maybe someone here had a similar problem in the past?   |

You are going to have to scratch it off very carefully with a blade or toothpicks. If done correctly it will be like it was never there.

You are going to have to scratch it off very carefully with a blade or toothpicks. If done correctly it will be like it was never there. I also thought about putting him into warm or very warm water to maybe make this superfluous glue a bit soft again to get it off easily, would that work? Or would this kind of glue simply not react? |

i think use a toothpick first and get as much as you can off then soak it in hot water and scrape rub off the rest

I would try taking a razor or exacto knife and just scraping it little by little

People pay $60 + for that Well, I payed 100€.... But to be fair, every figure could have problems like that. It's always a lucky bag, with every single figure. And if it's just a bit glue that I can get 100% rid off, I'm happy, better than bad paint jobs or loose articulations. |

And if it's just a bit glue that I can get 100% rid off, I'm happy, better than bad paint jobs or loose articulations. Yep. My Ronda Basic 90 has a smidge on her head. Looks like a grain of salt. I haven't popped it open yet, but it looks like it can be chipped away by hand. Yours is more significant, but totally looks manageable. |
