My heart jumped up in my throat when I checked WrestleZone. There was a picture of Terry and I thought it said that he had died. I'm... happy certainly isn't the right word... but I was relieved it wasn't the Dirty Funker. My heart goes out to him though.
I meet Vicky and Terry at a house show many, many moons ago. Had to be over 10 years at this point. I don't think I've ever met nicer people, especially in wrestling. Terry was so gracious with his time. We talked for well over a half hour. And not just about wrestling, it was just a really great chat. Both he and Vicky face me a lot of their time. She talked with me for about 10 before and after I spoke with Terry. They treated me like they'd known me for years. I'll never forget that.
I know she isn't well known in the IWC so I just wanted share a memory of an old friend.

Saw this about a half hour ago, and at first, I thought the headline said Terry passed away too. Good to know it wasn't Terry that died, but just as sad that it was his wife. Can't imagine how hard it is for the Funker, losing her, after 54 years of marriage.

From stories from Mick and books and Beyond the Mat, she seemed to be a great person. This is a tragedy. Horrible news. I'm sure Terry feels like he's lost his life as she's been the constant for more than 55 years (54 of that married)

Man, I was just watching a video, where Terry shows around his home office. At one point he says sure he wants to live to be 150, but he doesn't want to be out there without his wife or children or family. Hearing that statement after learning of the passing, just makes it a little sadder. One thing is for sure though, Terry will have a ton of people to give him support, in a horrible time.

It’s always heart breaking when we lose a loved one. To lose a spouse is a death of one’s self almost worse than death itself. My heart goes out in broken pieces to a master of our craft and a kind man.

Poor Terry, I am sure he's completely heartbroken right now.
She may have been even more hardcore than Terry was, to put up with his craziness all these years.
R.I.P. Vicky!!

That’s so sad. Watching Beyond The Mat, she seemed like such a down to earth woman. You could tell Terry really treasured her.

Here's hoping that Terry can keep it together. Johnny Cash couldn't live without his wife and he didn't go too long after she did.

Hope this isn't one of those things where one person dies, and the other soon follows. You know, the broken heart death.
