Who is your favorite? For me it's George Harrison. His All Things Must Pass album is my favorite of all time.

Overall body of work, John's. But George has some mighty impressive leftover Beatles work.

Solo wise it's Lennon for me. I feel like Lennon pushed the envelop in what was acceptable in pop music while McCartney was the opposite end playing it safe and George was the nice in between. And even though it's not a solo effort, shout out to Traveling Wilburys.

John. Sure, George and Paul had some hits in the eighties, but they sound so dated compared to what John pumped out in the seventies.

I'm marking out at the fact that most replies here were for George. When I was a kid (& didnt know any better) Paul was my favorite and then in HS, I discovered George. All Things Must Pass is absolutely a treasure of an album but I also enjoyed Cloud 9 and Brainswashed is a really good sendoff. The man is also a treasure. George would definitely be the one I choose to spend a day with, have a few drinks, walk his garden and listen to him play his Uke while chilling in the backyard.
And another shout out to The Traveling Wilburys. Wish they made more music together but man what a super group!

Have you seen both versions of the music video? They're both nice (I think the song is overplayed on the radio though.) Stuck Inside a Cloud (on the Brainwashed album) is heart-wrenchingly beautiful. Especially considering the pain he was going through at the time

Pisces fish, Stuck Inside a Cloud, Never get over you, Any Road, etc I can go on and on from that album. Gotta give a shout out to Jeff Lynne as well. He did a great job helping him out on these albums.

Even though George is my favorite solo, I will say all their stuff during the early 70s was gold.
Lennon with Imagine, Plastic Ono Band, Mind Games.
McCartney with McCartney, Ram, Band on the Run.
George with the ones I mentioned above.
And Ringo's first album( Big reason was the other 3 wrote songs/played on it lol but still a great album)

There is a movie called Boyhood and Ethan Hawke has this bit where he makes this epic Beatles CD from the guys solo projects and gives it to his son. It is not just the CD, but the description he gives of the fab 4 and why he chose the songs that is awesome. It is well worth watching if you are a Beatles fan as I feel his description is pretty spot on. Oh and for me personally I have always been more of a George Harrison fan
