WrestleMania 2 - Hogan Vs. Piper (C) for the WWF Championship
Piper got himself out WrestleMania 1 the WWF Champion and has proven to be one of the most feared and hated men in the WWF. Hulk Hogan has battled a whole year to get back to hero, and finish what he had started.
WrestleMania III - Hogan (C) Vs. Randy Savage for the WWF Championship
Hulk Hogan will now clash with Randy Savage. Savage has burst onto the scene, and is no Piper. Savage who had become slowly embraced with the fans, and former friendship with Hogan. Had turned his back on Hogan, as he felt like Hogan was taking his fame away and hogging the championship. A egotistical, but skilled superstar without the crafty elements of Piper but had the force of Hogan. Hogan never seen a threat like this.
WrestleMania IV - Ted Dibiase (C) Vs. Ricky Steamboat for the WWF Championship
Ted Dibiase was the man who ended Hogan's legendary reign at Summer Slam 1987. Dibiase has used his money and resources very well, especially his body guard. Andre The Giant was the best body guard a man could have. Ricky Steamboat has worked his way past IC Champion, and won a tournanment to get here. The beloved Steamboat, the Cinderella story to WrestleMania. It was the first Mania with Hogan not headlining. It was Steamboat and it was Dibiase to main event the show of shows.
WrestleMania V - Ricky Steamboat (C) Vs. Randy Savage for the WWF Championship
Randy Savage found himself back into the main event of WrestleMania. These two men are nothing but pure athletes. It was nothing but a dream match, leaving the crowd split. Savage had won the Rumble and defeated his long time rival, Hulk Hogan to prove why he should be back at WrestleMania. Savage in the end, ended Steamboat's legendary reign.
WrestleMania VI - Hogan Vs. Jake The Snake Roberts (C) for the WWF Championship
Jake the Snake Roberts had put on new level of savage in the WWF. Defeating Randy Savage at the Royal Rumble, and having his snake bite Savage. Hogan was back to the main event, winning the Rumble. Hogan would save Savage from the vicious attack, and have his arch rival support him to take on Roberts. Roberts would play a series of mind games with Hogan and it would be in question if Hogan could overcome them mind games in the Skydome.
WrestleMania VII - Mr. Perfect (C) Vs. The Undertaker for the WWF Championship
Mr. Perfect stood in league with few men, he defeated Hulk Hogan at the 1990 Survivor Series becoming a legend. Many even thought Hogan had retired in the wake of such demoralizing defeat. Perfect would brag being the man to end Hogan's career. Perfect found himself walk into a deadly and unknown with The Undertaker. The Paranormal was something beyond Perfect. In two short months, The Undertaker had won the 1991 Royal Rumble. The Undertaker was on the fast track to Mania with Perfect running scared. But Perfect's skill and craft may just end the Streak before it starts.
WrestleMania VIII - Ric Flair (C) Vs. Hogan for the WWF Championship
Hulk Hogan made a heroic return to the WWF at WrestleFest 1991 (June) to defeat Mr. Perfect. Hogan put down the man who we thought ended Hogan's career. Hogan was back for the title and he was going up against the undefeated Undertaker. Hogan and Taker was for Summer Slam 1991. Undertaker and Hogan no doubt tore the house down the power of man met the power of the supernatural. It was Paul Bearer and the urn that cut Hogan's night short. But, Hogan was not done. Hogan had bought himself another shot with holding Bearer hostage to lure in the Undertaker. The Undertaker would be nothing but angered, and even more darker side would be exposed. In the end Hogan defeated Taker at Survivor Series but had to be stripped of the title due to how Hogan won it. It was January 1992, and the Rumble would bring us new champion. The dream of many Hogan and Flair were the last two and Flair would shock the world eliminating Hogan. Ric Flair would become the man in the WWF. But, Hogan issued the challenge of the century off. This needed nothing personal, it needed no one to cross lines. It was set from the start, these two were going to make wrestling history. It was the face of NWA/WCW taking on the face of the WWF.
WrestleMania IX - Bret Hart Vs. Hulk Hogan (C) for the WWF Championship
Hogan had one more ride as the WWF Champion. But, his age would come into question in recent months. As well as the movement of new superstars. It seemed Hogan was past the times, and his time had come. And it was time for the 1993 Royal Rumble winner. Bret the Hitman Hart. The face of this generation. Hogan and Bret would get personal with series of miscomuincations as Hogan would see himself as the eternal hero. But, it was Bret Hart who saw himself as the face of today. It was Hogan not moving forward and Hart wanting his chance to headline the world.
WrestleMania X - The Undertaker (C) Vs. Yokozuna for the WWF Championship in a Casket Match
The Undertaker in recent times would become a face after the debut of Yokozuna last fall took the Deadman out of action. But the Deadman was out for a death warrant, but Yokozuna would evade Taker. Taker would find himself as 1# contender, and defeat Bret Hart at Royal Rumble 1994. The Undertaker was the champion, and the right move was needed for him to get Yokozuna. It would take till the same night, where Yokozuna won the Royal Rumble. Yokozuna would try to crush Takers legacy and put him back to where he came from. But, Yokozuna was finding not just a man, a dead man.
WrestleMania XI - Bret Hart Vs. Yokozuna (C) Vs. Owen Hart for the WWF Championship
1994 featured many WWF Championships. robbed Taker, Bret got the title at Summer Slam, but Yokozuna defeated Hart. Yokozuna's time finally had come. Yokozuna claimed to have ''killed'' Undertaker after Taking Taker out again in the Summer. Yokozuna now holds the title, and Bret Hart just could not manage to defeat Yokozuna anytime he tried. It just would not work. Owen Hart got his way to winning the Rumble, Owen and Yokozuna was set. Until, Bret Hart crashed the show and challenge Owen to match for his rumble shot. Bret would play on Owens ego and gut him in. Owen and Bret would face off, and Bret would defeat Owen using Yokozuna against Owen in a accident. Bret now stood in the main event of Mania again. With Yokozuna proving to be unstopped, Bret back for blood and a rivalry with his brother, and a sneaking and capable Owen Hart it was going to be interesting WrestleMania.
WrestleMania XII - Diesel Vs. Bret Hart (C) for the WWF Championship
Bret Hart regained his championship and he carried it with nothing but pride and excellence even outdoing his other 2 reigns. Bret Hart fought off any and all comers, but it wasn't expected for Shawn Michaels' former body guard to break out and come for the title. Diesel had quickly rose up the card winning the IC Championship, defeating Shawn Michaels (Bret's arch rival), and winning the 1996 Royal Rumble. It was not expected. Bret would doubt in Diesel being the man, and that would be put into question.
WrestleMania 13 - Bret Hart Vs. Shawn Michaels (C) for the WWF Championship Diesel faced Shawn Michaels in a heartbreaking loser leaves town street fight match at Summer Slam 1996. These two, put on the most dramatic match they've had to date. They beat eachother to pulps, but the egotistical Shawn Michaels would win with help from his new body guard. That was the end of Diesel in the WWF. Shawn Michaels would place Diesel as the one hit wonder. HBK would spend his reign running from Bret Hart, screwing over The Undertaker, Lex Luger, and many other babyfaces. Until Bret Hart won the 1997 Royal Rumble. Bret Hart was coming back to WrestleMania, and was coming to get his title. Shawn Michaels would stack the odds and even odds, but the Hitman managed to defeat Shawn Michaels.
WrestleMania 14 - Bret Hart (C) Vs. Shawn Michaels II Things in the World of Wrestling had changed very much so in 1997. Bret Hart had slowly became the man to hate. It was a shock, but it was understood. Bret found himself in the same place, Hulk Hogan was in WrestleMania 9. Bret would deny it and act out when he defeated Steve Austin at Survivor Series 1997( in the same fashion he did in our world at WM 14). The winds of change were blowing Bret Hart out of the WWF. He formed the Heart Foundation and these men would become the leading faction. Shawn Michaels after his defeat suffered heartbreaking injury, only to return to save Hunter Hearst Helmsey. Shawn would align with him dubbing him Triple H. Shawn in a underdog story won the Rumble entering as #1. With DX raising Hell for the heart foundation and the WWF audience falling in love with Shawn Micaels. The second time around was going to be better then the first.
WrestleMania XV - Steve Austin Vs. Shawn Michaels (C) Vs. The Rock for the WWF Championship
This WrestleMania brought together a very interesting story. Shawn Michaels had lost his WWF Championship at Summer Slam 1998, when The Rock defeated him. The Rock was Mr. McMahon's golden boy in McMahon's war with the DX army. Steve Austin's rise only continued to unfold. Steve Austin would pursue The Rock, but The Rock would escape. It would come down to Austin winning the 1999 Royal Rumble, and Michaels defeating The Rock at Royal Rumble 1999 in Last Chance match with Michaels career on the line. It was the Shawn Michaels who was the foundation, The Rock who was the corporate foundation, and Austin who was the anti establishment.
WrestleMania 2000 - The Rock (C) Vs. Triple H
The Rock finally did what he was going to do, that was become the WWF Champion. Steve Austin and the Rock were scheduled for rematch at Survivor Series 1999, but it was Steve Austin who got ran over. Triple H in the last year had become main event player. After Shawn Michaels retired due to losing his smile and walking away from the World Wrestling Federation. The Rock would go on to become supported by the fans, but so was Triple H. And what hung in the balance was who ran Austin over.
WrestleMania X-7 - Triple H (C) Vs. Shawn Michaels in a Street fight for the WWF Championship
It turned out it was Triple H, and Triple H rose to the top out of Shawn's retirement. Triple H would betray DX and join the McMahons. Triple H became the most hated man in the World Wrestling Federation. Even getting Steve Austin fired, Triple H had a year of terror as WWF Champion. But Shawn Michaels made the most triumph return at the 2001 Royal Rumble winning. Triple H would try to recruit Shawn to his cause, but Shawn woke up to the reality. These two bestfriends were going to boil over in a Street fight for Mania.
WrestleMania X-18 - Steve Austin (C) Vs. The Rock for the WWF Championship
A rivalry so great will always find it's way back to WrestleMania. These two have done it everywhere, but WrestleMania. Steve Austin would become the WWF Champion again after a career injury and firing. Austin was back for Mania, and The Rock the 2001 Royal Rumble winner was waiting. It was seen as these men doing everything with it, but bringing it here. It was explosive, and saw The Rock turn his back on the world joining Mr.McMahon in the end of WrestleMania.
WrestleMania 19 - Goldberg (C) Vs. Steve Austin for the WWF Championship Seattle would host this edition of WrestleMania. With Goldberg bursting on the scene to the WWE. Goldberg had finally came to WWE and was leaving behind a path of destruction taking out superstars left and right and becoming WWF Champion. But one foul mouthed SOB wasn't holding back. Goldberg was a warrior for WCW, and was fighting for the return of WCW. Goldberg would see himself as the last man of his cause, and Steve Austin was the man he'd need to eliminate.
WrestleMania XX - Shawn Michales (C) Vs. Bret Hart III for the WWF Championship
A cocky Heartbreak kid was back as WWF Champion. Shawn's change in attitude would come with his disrespect to many stars of the lockeroom and crashing Bret Hart's reconciliation with the WWF. Bret who had retired, vowed to never compete. Until, it dug in. Bret Hart's defeat at WrestleMania 14, he never got over. Bret Hart was motivated to come back to the show of shows and do what he does best. It was a match only the 20th WrestleMania could have, It was Bret's final curtain call.
WrestleMania 21 - The Undertaker (C) Vs. Triple H
WrestleMania had become a trend for the title to change hands, and it does very much so. The Undertaker found himself back at the WWF Champion. And Triple H stood in his way, these men never facing off and never touching have finally come to touch for WrestleMania 21. The Undertaker stood in the face of one of the most cold hearted and calculating superstars in the WWF. The Undertaker has met the man who very well, can end the Streak.
WrestleMania 22 - John Cena Vs. The Rock (C) for the WWF Championship
A young kid from West Newberry, stood in the face of becoming a star. John Cena brought the streets and everything he could to WrestleMania. A kid with determination, found himself in spot that never should of been. He stood in the face of a WWF Icon. The Rock, one of the leading stars had become Hollywood star. And never was adored by the fans as he was before WrestleMania 18. Leaving 8 months at time for Hollywood. The Hollywood Star would put Cena down, But Cena brought the meaning of what a real champion should be.
WrestleMania 23 - Edge Vs. John Cena (C) for the WWF Championship
This WrestleMania was about the future and it showed it, John Cena and Edge step into the ring. Cena the underdog of the WWF has fought his way throughout the World Wrestling Federation. Becoming a great in a year. But a cunning superstar waited, Edge. Edge risen through the tag team to the mid card to the main event. Edge found himself standing in Cena's face. A clash of personality, a clash of waves, and a clash of honor all for the WWF Championship
WrestleMania 24 - Edge (C) Vs. Ric Flair for the WWF Championship
Edge over the past year has found himself, in and out of victories and continuing to run with the WWF Championship. But, Edge stood in the face of a living legend Ric Flair. Ric Flair who has had a career resurgence is on the road to WrestleMania. Flair's age, and Edge' predator like nature is on display. And with Flair having one last match, can he just add one more to the list.
WrestleMania 25 - The Undertaker Vs. John Cena (C) for the WWF Championship
John Cena found his way back to the WWF Championship and was proud of it. John Cena this time didn't need to prove anything he did everything to do, until The Undertaker and his streak stood in the way. The Undertaker was coming for Cena, and Cena only had one answer and that was Ruthless Aggression. Cena would not back down and show no fear. But, could Cena truly become a immortal tonight?
WrestleMania 26 - Triple H (C) Vs. Shawn Michaels in a Career Threating Last Man Standing match for the WWF Championship
Shawn Michaels once again stood back at the main event, and so did Triple H. Years have passed since these men reunited, bu Mr. McMahon has seen the pain Shawn Michaels' family has been in. He has seen Shawn struggling to continue forward. But, Shawn wants to go on and see's years left. Shawn's career was on borrowed time, Triple H would even see it. These two men would be put into conflict again. But only one man was standing, a title on the line, a friendship, and a fatherhood.
WrestleMania 27 - Cm Punk vs. Triple H (C) for the WWF Championship
A establishment was questioned. Cm Punk who has moved up the card and grown sick of the structure of the WWF. Triple H vacated the WWF title initially, but since returned and robbed John Cena of the title. Triple H stated it was what's best for buisness. Cm Punk held down by Triple H has led a revolution, and isn't going to let up. Can Punk question the authority, or will the Game put him down.
WrestleMania 28 - John Cena Vs. Cm Punk (C) for the WWF Championship
Punk put down The Game and has went on to take WWF by storm. Being more then a modern Steve Austin. But, with every Steve Austin there is The Rock. And John Cena was that man Cena was that same kid who was underdog at WM 22. But Punk saw it different, as Cena was that man. But he became the establishment. Cena saw Punk as disresecting everyhting Cena fought for and things were going to be big for WrestleMania 28.
WrestleMania 29 - The Undertaker Vs. Edge (C) Vs. John Cena for the WWF Championship
Edge and John Cena's war for the WWF title were very well documented, and could be seen of the course of 7 years. Edge wanted more shot at defeating The Undertaker, and with the title he could entise Taker. But, things were not done with Cena and Cena would crash a contract signing and add his name. Cena looking to end a 7 year conflict, as well as end the streak things were going to get huge.
WrestleMania 30 - Brock Lesnar Vs. Cm Punk (C) in a UFC Cage fight for the WWF Championship
Cm Punk is WWF Champion, and continuing his legacy. But former NFL Player and UFC Champion Brock Lesnar would debut in the WWF and decimate Punk. Punk was beaten and even had his arm broke and almost pulled out of WrestleMania. But Cm Punk was ready to fight and go toe to toe with Lesnar
WrestleMania 31 - Cody Rhodes (C). Vs. Bray Wyatt for the WWF Championship
The American Nightmare going against the New Age Nightmare Bray Wyatt. Rhodes had finally gotten to the top and it was no way he was going to let go of that, but he was confronted by one of the insane men in the WWF Bray Wyatt. Wyatt had retired The Undertaker and declared himself as the sucessor and would invoke fear and devastation on Rhodes. Even attacking Dusty, and attacking the Rhodes family home. Cody had a lot to fight for and stand up for WrestleMania 31.
WrestleMania 32 - Tyler Black Vs. Dean Ambrose (C) for the WWF Championship
Ambrose had become one of the hottest acts in the WWF after breaking off the Wyatt family. Becoming a pyschopath of his own right, even holding gun to Cm Punk's had. But it was going to be another crazy man to go toe to toe. Tyler Black wasn't backing down and showed how far he could go. Black was going to push Ambrose to his extreme, but would Amrbose push Black to insanity was the question.
WrestleMania 33 - John Cena (C) Vs. Roman Reigns for the WWF Championship
It was Cena's final go and final time to stand tall. Roman Reigns was the man, but Cena wasn't going to hold on but he wasn't going to let go. And if Reigns wanted to be the man he had to prove it to Cena himself.
WrestleMania 34 - Tyler Black (C) Vs. Roman Reigns Vs. Dean Ambrose for the WWF Championship
The three biggest men in the WWF today. Each young man has forged a amazing career, all headlined WrestleMania. All are or were WWF Champions, the great question was the three of them together. It came to be when Dean Ambrose robbed Reigns of the Rumble, in hopes of settling the score with Black. These three were going to redefine WrestleMania.
WrestleMania 35 - Bray Wyatt Vs. Dean Ambrose in a Hell in a Cell match (C) for the WWF Championship
The stars have crossed again, the creator verses the creation. Wyatt had created Ambrose and in his law could destroy him. It was time to come knocking for Ambrose and his sins. Ambrose wasn't go to bow and wasn't going to go back to the Wyatt Family. The definitions of insanity meet, but these two men come very different walks of insane.
