Probably the worst go home show. The tug of war of over the title was better

Glad I recorded RAW last night. The house show I went to Sunday night was hands down more enjoyable and it was 3 hours long as well. How can the writers make a house show seen by a few thousand be better than a televised show seen by millions ?

Batistas promo was perfect and got a huge pop from my viewing party lol.
The rest was total garbage. Are they so desperate to get Corbin over that they closed the show with him? Just fire this jobber, seriously. Why even go so far as to slot him in the main event just to get his match over? It’ll suck and hardly anybody is interested in it, get over it. You put together a stinker, you’re hell bent on having it stink...so let it stink, and move on. Why fight it?
It’s like the WMX7 go home raw ending with all the guys in the gimmick battle royal throwing down....WHO CARES!? Way to spotlight what’s important WWE. Baron Corbin will never be over. Keep trying. Atleast he shaved his head so he doesn’t look like Skinner anymore

How can the writers make a house show seen by a few thousand be better than a televised show seen by millions ? I guess not having the fingerprints of 'Last Minute McMahon' all over the show crumpling up their scripts at the zero hour speaks volumes of what they can actually do sometimes. Plus having endless commercials to sit through for RAW not only during matches but between segments and all the PR spots and other video packages makes it feel that much more like sitting in quicksand.

The women getting arrested segment is the new "I'm not finished with you yet!".

Terrible show. Batista was the highlight. The show should've ended with the Rollins/Lesnar segment, as lukewarm as it was.
The women's match gets more cringeworthy with every passing week. By attempting to add drama/raise the stakes they make it increasingly less believable and more silly. That kickfight had all of the drama of a foodfight. It made everyone look goofy, nobody looked badass, and I get less interested in this match by the week. I'd say aside from turning Ronda they haven't done a single thing right in the build for this match since the Rumble, and Charlotte still doesn't belong. I'd have ended this with Ronda taking them both out in nasty fashion, as this was essentially her last stand. She should look unbeatable. Instead we get the wacky arrest-fest that isn't remotely believable in spite of Cole's 'she SHOULD be arrested for that!' Even though worse happens on a weekly basis with no repercussion (although I could see Ronda's arrest could see justified for hitting a cop if the entire thing wasn't pointless.)
I'm kind of ok with the 'is Roman 100%?' Story, but it's a total afterthought. Although every match on this card has been positioned as a throwaway aside from the main event, the two title matches, and the Angle retirement
Who the hell ends a show with Baron Corbin? He's a decent mid card heel, but they clearly see more in him than he's capable of carrying.
I thought Angle was supposed to have a match with Rey. I'd have been happy with REY/Angle as a main event, especially for Angle's final Raw match. That's two matches in a row that were advertised that either didn't take place or got interrupted before they got going. The AJ match was starting to look like it could be good too. Angle must REALLY not be able to go anymore. Also, Rey is pretty much a jobber. From a storyline perspective why is he getting the title match and not the guy who beat him several times (Almas)?
This was a pretty lousy show for a Wrestlemania go home show, but this year I don't have that Wrestlemania feeling that I usually do either. Again, main event, Baron Corbin?

When was the last time we had a good Mania go-home RAW? I certainly can't remember... The Women's kick arrest fest was so cringe I was just waiting for Becky to pull out a Samurai blade and go KillBill on everybody just for Ronda to fight her off with nunchucks and Charlotte shooting fire out of her balloons... it was just plain ridiculous...
Also LOL at the Revival who are punished for being tag champs...

Does anyone know of Becky or Ronda’s legal team has been in contact with the Metropolitan Police Department? I can imagine putting two suspects with violent tendencies in the same transport without a partition is against department policy. MPD and the specific officers involved should be sued criminally and civilly by the two women for negligence and endangerment.

Raw should've ended with the women getting arrested instead of having it end with a lacklustre main event and with Angle giving Corbin the Angle lock.
