That Bret Hart is incredible. I believe that is his Summer Slam 1994 ring attire.

I don't know how whoever designed, sculpted, and approved them can be proud, even just as prototypes. They're legitimately two of the worst attempts at capturing somebody's likeness in toy form that I've ever seen. They definitely look silly but I think they're actually two of the absolute best likenesses they've ever done.

The Bret is so awesome. I love the posable jacket and all 3 heads look good besides the hair strands being a little too much. Shinsuke is so unnecessary though. The figure itself is good enough for what it is (although I think the 2 bonus heads look terrible) but it looks almost identical to his 3-4 other Elites that are all still very easily accessible at a cheaper price. We already have tons of Elite Nakamuras in red gear with multiple different entrance jackets and coats, including an almost perfect cloth one that's on shelves now at a cheaper price, so why would they think it's a good idea to put another one out in their brand new premium line? It really seems like Bill made this just because he's a huge fan. Maybe I'll be wrong but seems like a big misstep for a brand new line like this. I've seen quite a few videos of Bill being interviewed and on numerous occasions i've thought the same (him pushing his personal picks into the line instead of doing what's best for business.)

That last Nakamura sold out everywhere around me as soon as the Walmart sale started. Seemingly the only thing that's sold since then.

IMO, that's the definitive Bret Hart figure ever made. I can't imagine anyone doing a better job than that... ever.

What's retail price on these? I have heard $31.99 recently. The rumor was $29.99 awhile back.

I’ve said it here before, but the Shinsuke stuff sells out almost immediately all around me. Lol. Even his basics sell at a higher rate than the others do, from what I’ve seen. I need to live in some of the areas that are flooded with his figures! Lol.

I will say, I think this jacket... Would make for an excellent figure, if they ever revisit Bret in this line.

Why do all 3 of Bret's head scans have hair in front of his face? That Nakumara torso looks atrocious. I finally start liking elites, but I don't like any of these ultimates so far.

What's retail price on these? I have heard $31.99 recently. The rumor was $29.99 awhile back. So then RSC's price of $37.99 doesn't look too bad. Now the idea of paying $45 (when considering shipping) for that Nakamura is pretty offensive but I don't blame Ringside for that one. One of the things I was afraid of with this line was that it would be rendered dead in the water before we got the proper legends (i.e. Macho King Randy Savage from Royal Rumble 91 above all others) and that would most likely be due to two reasons: character selection and price. We've seen the Defining Moments and Entrance Greats lines get watered down to being the same thing as Elites and, I hate to say it, but this second series of Ultimate Editions seems to be headed the same direction, specifically with the Nakamura. Personally, I don't mind paying $40 for a figure with the proper accessories and attire treatment. Although I will absolutely be buying it (I'll buy any WWF Elite Bret), that Bret is borderline in terms of what the general consumer would consider an acceptable Ultimate Edition figure (read: worth $40) while the Nakamura falls far short and is a glorified Elite. So to Bill and MattelDesignTeam I beg of you, PLEASE give us a proper Macho King (cowboy hat, jacket, bandana, scepter, sunglasses, etc.) before this line goes the way of Legends, Defining Moments, Entrance Greats, Hall Of Fame, Hall Of Champions and many other former homes of legends. After Macho, I'd love to see 94 Double J Jeff Jarrett.

I'm clearly in the minority, but I actually like this style of chest better than the Elite. When I first started collecting the line I was only buying basics because I found having a giant hinge in the middle of the chest to be an eyesore. Eventually the character selection pulled me over. I think Mattel's execution of these torsos could be a little more seamless, but it's far from a deal-breaker for me.
I do with they were spending less money on sculpting and more on a truly ultimate figure. Nakamura is a one-off attire from a match that wasn't really noteworthy. The jacket is cool, but even ignoring price point I put this figure behind his DM, NXT, and most recent Elite figures.

I'm clearly in the minority, but I actually like this style of chest better than the Elite. I prefer it too because it offers a way better range of motion, and when done right they can blended into the sculpt better, especially when you have lumpy muscles to help hide the seam.

I hate the torsos but I still really want Bret and the jacket will hide it. An added bonus is that I can swap the double jointed elbows onto the WM10 figure I hope they keep doing some figures like this so I can retroactively upgrade some of my elites to double jointed arms, which is the only added articulation that this line really needs tbh

This is not Ultimate!
I thought when we saw the first render of Asuka that the Ultimate Edition would be epic, with all of the cloth accessories like the first couple of series in the Defining Moments.
It looks like more crap to jump the price up. I would have happily paid $30 for a lot of accessories and cool figure. Now I'm disappointed and looking back to the main Elite line smh. Thanks for disappoint me
