Amazon delayed my JYD retro till Sept. Kind of expected that but still took the chance on the whole wave on Amazon. I actually just cancelled my extras I ordered. I really can't afford to spend money on more stuff to just sit around anyways. Maybe they'll be valuable in a few months or not, who knows how widely available they will be. |

Definite yes to Jerry Lawler for me - arguably my biggest missing piece from the Hasbro line given the timeframe involved; Diesel and King of Harts Owen being just outside the production run, but King was right there to be made. Yup. Lawler Diesel USA Lex are always the 3 that spring to mind for me. |

Just received Series 9. while the character selection is great, the production quality is terrible. It must be the worst series (at least until S9) and I really hope series 10 is not similar in terms of quality. All figures have more or less paint bleeding and the Savage head is a joke. All in all Savage is my least favorite figure. The chop is the wrong action feature in my eyes, should have been a clothesline.
I am kind of understanding what the Mattel employee ment when he said it is good that the line is going on hiatus. I did enjoy the line until now but wouldn’t want another 10 series reusing parts and reducing quality. I dont want to see the Austin boots anymore and the heads of Basics and Elites are far superior to the Retro heads. This line really needed either a reboot (praysers send) or an end before becoming a vexation.

Grabbed another Jericho yesterday for $5 so I could put the scarf on Elias. I couldn't bring myself to buy extras of the others. I don't know what I'd do with them other than just sit on them and that seems like a waste. Hopefully some kids mom or dad buys them at that price and they play the paint off of them. It would be the only justifiable reason to have Sheamus end up as your favorite wrestler.

Has series 9 or 10 hit retail yet? Nothing in my area yet- PA suburbs. Newest I've found is Series 8 at Target. They also got in those Micro Maniax, so I might just fill in the void with those once the Retro line is gone for as long as they last anyhow. I love that they are like smaller Rumblers-I picked up Ronda and Macho Man so far. |

I went to one Wal-Mart the other day that had the common series (7?) marked down to $2.50. Strangely there was no Sheamus but there were two HBK, one Kurt and one Jericho. I picked them up for now because at that price they are great for gifts or toy drives come the holidays and I hold out hope moving inventory will hopefully help stuff show up.
I randomly found Jeff Hardy on the Target app the other day. Ordered him and he should be here soon. Got notice my Amazon pre-order of Matt Hardy got sent, despite no one else from that set being on the way yet.
My Ryder and Sheik are still pending delivery. I noticed last night that Ryder is down to $9.99 and "available in 1 to 3 weeks" from Amazon. I contacted support to ask why the price on my pre-order didn't autodrop the $4 difference and got a bunch of bad answers where I assume I am going to get stuck with the higher price but I also don't want to cancel and re-order and lose my place in the queue when Amazon has cancelled more of my retros than they have fulfilled.

The retros are still on the new target reset so we should still have them there through the holidays. We should see all the sets there, or at least 9 or 10 since they got 7 & 8.

Although it's only a packaging thing. I decided to purchase the (Taped "arms up") Macho Man from Ringside. Already had the rest of Series 5 & 6 MOC taped pieces, couldn't pass on this one. Looking to fill the void, as not too many errors/variants are showing up to add to my collection.  |

I still think they should just drop a few incredibly overpriced four packs online geared entirely toward collectors. Do them as basically ways of filling holes in the Hasbro set and make them semi era specific. People would gladly pay 60 or so for these and once they finished with them, we could all just sleep easily and be at peace at last.

Also posted this in Figure Findings -- Amazon just delivered my Diesel retro. I had ordered Goldust, JYD, and Diesel. Goldust and JYD were cancelled -- I re-ordered both, but wasn't expecting to ever get them. But they just delivered Diesel to me (the packaging was virtually destroyed though -- good thing I plan to open it!)

I ordered the last few series of Retros on Amazon as soon as I saw them.
Ryder and Sheik still pending, Hardy/Braun have long been cancelled. Ryder still hasn't dropped to the lower price they offer him at now.
Orton and Joe are still pending from their series. Goldust has been cancelled by Amazon for some time, I was too discouraged to order Macho by the time his pre-order showed up.
I ordered Series 10 together when they popped up. Matt Hardy came in one of those special Sunday deliveries yesterday and Elias arrived today. Got the notice Diesel is once again delayed today, JYD has been for some time. Not optimistic about receiving those.
