I started getting desperate and buying the “Orange card series” (Diesel/USA Luger/Jarrett/Mabel/Mo/Booger/Doink #2) made by Custom Boss or whatever his name is. And R&B Valentine. And Mega Maniacs Brutus. And Black trunks Warrior. And General Adnan. And Evil Slaughter. And Col. Mustafa. And Hart Foundation Jim. And red paint Demolition Crush. And Bodyguard Virgil. And Custom Pose Million Dollar Man. And custom painted Hogan. And all the Simbas. And Santa Clause. And I also have every carded version of Hasbro Andre (that I know of). Let’s not talk about Galoobs, the Japanese collection, or the belt collection. My wallet took a major hit but my shelves are overflowing. That money could have belonged to Mattel. That custom guy on ebay that sells custom Hasbro Brooklyn Brawler, etc? Imo he used to be really good but his work has gotten sloppy lately and his prices have increased. Hopefully you got yours when his heart was in it and not just his wallet. |

I have every single Retro and now every Hasbro (that I truly want). I’m looking for stuff to collect now that the thrill isn’t there. I have been tempted to go and find more Retros in the wild but at the same time, I have no use for most of them (there aren’t many I am interested in fixing up or customizing). Same here. With the Hasbro's, mailaway Hogan was one that I bought 2 years ago. I have the general set, but am not interested in dropping $5k to have mailaway Hart and Taker. Mail away Hogan was the best of the 3, by far (in my opinion). Brett and Undertaker were too similar to their regular versions. Hogan in that red shirt is just awesome. Is yours still in the bag? |

Same here. With the Hasbro's, mailaway Hogan was one that I bought 2 years ago. I have the general set, but am not interested in dropping $5k to have mailaway Hart and Taker. Mail away Hogan was the best of the 3, by far (in my opinion). Brett and Undertaker were too similar to their regular versions. Hogan in that red shirt is just awesome. Is yours still in the bag? Yeah it is. I also had it signed by Hulk last month with a COA. So its worth a few car payments now Haha  |

Those Powers of Pain looked amazing! Yeah, I'm desperate now to fill the voids Mattel SHOULD have filled with the retro line. Already have the orange cards, valentine, brutus (all from CustomBoss) and proto shawn (k-light customs). Have on order Powers of Pain, Bad News Brown and black trunks Warrior (warrior 2 repaint). And I'm making up dream lists in my head of who I'd want eventually to really fill out the 89-94 WWF roster. And some extent beyond those years and into WCW. But, I really can't afford them as is, so best to try and stick with the Hasbro era for now. |

You're probably right. I just checked, the sellers name is 'skizzard2013' and he does a lot of custom Hasbros. They used to be nice. Yeah, I don't know the seller specifically you speak of. But, agreed, there's a lot of crap looking stuff on ebay. The only guy's work I feel happy with that is actively (to the best of my knowledge) making customs is Darrin (2upGuy, Customboss). I do see amazing stuff on facebook, but replies from makers are usually that they're not taking orders atm. |

Diesel. 25 years I’ve been waiting for this and it’s finally here. Because they’re prototypes, they’re all hand-painted a look a little rough around the edges, but I am ridiculously excited for this Diesel. When the retros were first shown at comic con or whatever it was years ago, the one figure I needed was Diesel. Now it’s HERE! Of course it’s immediately met with negative remarks on social media. I don’t understand some people, I really don’t. Nothing is ever good enough. wish he didnt have glasses for some reason i dont like it on these figs |
