Have there been any other Wallyworld sightings of series 10 ? Seems fishy that they would be available there after the huge series 7 clearance. I have never seen 9 or 10 but lots of our Wal Marts in NC had Series 8 back in June or July maybe? If they stuck around they were included in the big clearance they had along with 7

Series 10 at Five Below photos on social media. I love that you guys are getting the chance to buy these later sets finally in stores, but damn it frustrates me to see the line end this way

Still zip in my area. If a store only gets a case or two, they'd be gobbled up this weekend. Yes, pun intended.

The one closest to me had a couple zacks and jeffs the other day. They only had series 3 last year. Was hoping for some 9 and 10s this year.

Out of curiosity, would people be interested in a Hasbro-/Retro-style line similar to the knock off lines of the 80s and 90s? I am not talking about any unlicensed stuff but about fantasy wrestlers in Hasbro style. Nothing concrete here, just an idea... for now...

I’ve been thinking a little about trying to create such a line myself!

Sounds intriguing - anything in the Hasbro style would be interesting to me.

I wonder if JYD was shortpacked. He seemed to go out of stock everywhere really fast.

I wonder if JYD was shortpacked. He seemed to go out of stock everywhere really fast. When I ordered two sets of series 10 from WS here in the UK then I received the sealed Mattel packing box with eight figures - two of each, equally packed. That was a couple of months after Ringside got them, but I imagine the packing on the figures would be the same. But that would mean that JYD has sold better than Diesel, which would be surprising to me at least. I know the Diesel figure isn’t perfect, but Retro fans would surely be after Diesel as a priority, though JYD would be a firm second, certainly ahead of the two current guys. Diesel is still available at Ringside, but JYD hasn’t been listed for months now I think.

Diesel's Network Spotlight figure is the easiest to find in my area at all of the Target stores I've frequently visited. I was under the assumption it was because Diesel had a similar Hall of Fame figure in the same stores about two years ago. Maybe that's not the case. Perhaps his character just doesn't move as quickly.

Retro series Diesel being a classic Hasbro style plays a lot into it I think. As opposed to being another of the Elite or Basic figures. Especially with collectors fascination with the fabeled orange card series and Diesel being a part of it. Especially the novelty of his character being one of the next logical ones in the line up before it got cancelled, making people feel more probably they can pretend they really are picking up where they left off in a way with the Hasbro line. Things like that would really make it surprise me if Diesel isn't one of the hardest to find or most popular.

I stopped at a couple of Five Belows and found some S8. I'm still holding out hope for 9 & 10.

Is it at all possible that based on preorder numbers, Mattel actually may have made cases of specific figures for them? I also saw some people posting on FB the JYD figures with black staining on the boots that were found at Five Below. Maybe a production run of him got screwed up so that's why he can't be found?
