I’m just gonna be grateful we are getting more. I want them to function like the legends line. Just a few names, no frills, only safe bets. Please guys let’s not this up.

Great news! Hopefully these are available at multiple outlets! Along with many of the guys listed it would be cool if they made some early/mid 90s WCW guys as well who were around the same time that the Hasbro line ran...Cactus Jack, Vader, Harlem Heat, DDP, surfer Sting, the Giant/Big Show (doubt now though), Johnny B. Badd haha, Arn Anderson. Not sure how guys in AEW (like AA, show) or who are critical of WWE now (Badd/Mero) would get stuff made. Is stuff like the WWE legends deal even in play if a guy is in AEW?
Also I wonder with the Mean Gene being made and having a microphone made maybe they will start having more accessories made too.. like getting more belts made from that era?

What great news the retros are coming back! I hope the hard lessons learned before will lead to a successful, never-ending run. I think it’s important to play to the collectors and fill in the missing holes of the original line. Current guys are fine by me, but should be limited.
And here’s my wishlist!
Loose Cannon Pillman Hart Foundation Haku Andre (colossal connection!) New Rick Rude Long tights Macho King Hollywood Hogan The Outsiders Syxx / Xpac Barbarian Vader Vince McMahon 93 Lawler Bobby Heenan Jimmy Hart And the long shot, which will probably have to be made by an indie company — POWER AND GLORY

Paint splatter bret would look amazing in the retro style. You could imagine it bring something Hasbro would’ve done as a bret 3 since it didn’t need pin point accuracy to look good (think nasty boys and how good those hasbros looked)
And a usa lex too if he had a deal

Wasn't there a Bret rumoured to be pencilled in (along with a couple of others) before the line got cancelled?

if they do another shawn michaels, they should do it similar to the prototype hasbro figure This one has been in most of my "Fantasy Series 11" line-ups that have come-up for discussions occasionally since SDCC 2019. My pitch was for them to do the red and white Survivor Series '92 tights that was almost the reverse of the white and red that both the prototype and the eventual Hasbro had - I always liked that Survivor Series gear (made a Hasbro custom in that myself back in the late 90s) and it makes the Retro not a direct copy of the prototype but a clear homage. Plus the customisers will then buy extras of the figure to re-paint into the white and red gear to match the Hasbro prototype. And once they have the Roman punch action without the Shield gear on then that body can be used on a hundred different guys - it pays for itself Or they could just ignore 1992 Shawn and instead release blue '95 HBK, or a WMXII boyhood dream HBK if they prefer - it's the punch that is the important thing.

How sweet would Barbarian w/antlers and all be though.

I'd love the 95' Blue Trunks HBK too. I'd really like to put together a complete set in Hasbro/Retro form of the Bone Crunchers S1 set. I guess the Retro Diesel, Goldust and Undertaker fill those spots. And the purple Razor is pretty much the attire of the bone cruncher. So, just need Bret and Shawn.

Bone Crunchers S 1+2 in Retro style would be a great addition the Hasbro collection. Mattel should habe started like this. The idea is fantastic!

Personally I think it’s all about the Superkick action! That is one of the best things to come out of Retro line....just a shame it wasn’t with tights/boots & had that head 🤣 Still it’ll work well for my Pat Tanaka custom when I get around to finishing it 😂

Hopefully they start making tag teams, as well as a couple Ringside exclusives.

That HBK is an amazing head swap -- what is it? I've found when non-Retro heads are swapped in, they usually look really fake. But this looks really great. Is that also a Diesel head swap?

That is one of the best things to come out of Retro line....just a shame it wasn’t with tights/boots & had that head 🤣 Still it’ll work well for my Pat Tanaka custom when I get around to finishing it 😂 I do actually like the superkick action as well - I liked that they worked it to fit HBK similar to what they did with Flair and the chop; I'm sure some purists don't like the new non-Hasbro actions but I've always been open to Mattel developing new features in the spirit of the line rather than necessarily a direct copy. It's very unfortunate the head-scan let that figure down so badly. But with guys who are going to get (or should get) multiple figures then I'd like to see them vary the actions if they can like they did with the Randy Savage figures rather than just repaints like with Owens and Sting (different circumstances I know, those two were late replacements for released talent, but still if they had put the Sting 1 head on a clothesline body then the Wolfpac one might be one of the best in the line). For HBK then I could picture his time-line (given infinite time, money and opportunity) being something like: -Survivor Series '92 - punch action -SummerSlam '95 - Elias action -WrestleMania XII - clothesline action -IYH Degeneration X - Ambrose action -Series 7 superkick -WrestleMania XXVI - Texas Tornado action (Steve said they had been looking at bring this one into the line) -Bald Saudi Shawn - jumper? Not many will care about this one anyway They could make some amazing figures with some of those I think.

Mean Gene and a Piper, with removable Kilt, yes please. I will buy any Retro figures from any era, of course I'd prefer them to be mostly classics/legends. This has made my year. #WeWantRetros
