Aight. We're getting close, so I'm doing this again like I did for Infinity War. Anything and everything about the film when it comes out is to be posted here. Not in its own thread. Not in the Marvel thread. Here. Any violation will get you a big warning because I can't see if for a while and I don't wanna be spoiled when I go into the Marvel thread for Cloak and Dagger talk. XD

So I dont know how true it is, but someone spoiled endgame a little. So read ahead at your own risk.

Spoilers (possibly) ahead...

Read Thanos dies in the first half hour and Galactus is the featured bad guy. Saw a shot of Stark wearing what looked like the gauntlet. Again, dont know how valid this is, but if it's real it would come as a little bit of a shock.

I've read a ton of spoilers and now I am unreasonably excited for this movie.

^That's not true. No Galactus, no F4, no X-Men at all.

Saw it last night at a midnight screening. Still feeling tired now but it was such a great film. Kind of torn on Thor because on one hand it was very funny seeing what he became but it almost seems like he's a joke character, stripped of everything that made him a badass in Ragnarok and Infinity War. Steve Rogers however amazed me. I had chills when he wielded the hammer against Thanos.

I heard a rumor that there’s no post or mid credit ending is that true?

No end credit scene, but the credits have like a tribute in them. You do hear some metal clanking from Iron Man 1 at the very end.

I think he's the only one who will get a 4th movie and cameo a few times.

I just got back and as I told JokerFC in the MCU thread, this movie was absolutely rewarding in every way. To be honest, I fought back tears on way too many occasions. Both happy and sad. And since it's a spoiler thread... The only small thing I would have liked to see was during the scene where they're on the dock arguing about Natasha, and Clint mentioned the big red guy. I wish he had said red skeleton guy and Cap would have turned and looked alarmed. Just a simple second.
Also glad to see so many past characters pop in for cameos. Alexander Pierce & Jane Foster for example.
Cap's ending was perfect.
Tony's ending was what I feared most but I knew it was coming. Felt too real.
"Cap... on your left" was a nerd-gasm if there ever was one. Dear god.
So much more to say but I need to process it. And probably see it at least one more time.

Don’t you wish we could have seen it when Cap returned the soul stone back to red skull? Man that would have been amazing. Speaking of the soul stone, shouldn’t Black Widow return at some point seeing as he had to return the stones at the exact moment they were acquired?

The soul stone is the only one that wouldn't work for.
I'm happy we'll get Scarlett for her prequel film at least. I didn't realize how much her death would hit me until it happened.

Went last night.
Totally agree about being torn on Thor. I think if they don't make him so fat, everyone doesn't feel conflicted about it. He was like cartoonishly out of shape, and that was probably totally unnecessary to get the point across. I laughed at damn near all of his scenes, though. And Tony's Lebowski joke killed me.
I seriously had a stretch from like Black Widow and Clint trading places sequence through the end of the film where I was fighting tears. I lost it the most when everyone came through the portals and it was just one character coming back after another. That scene hit me harder than Tony's death scene. It was almost like a "look at all of this magic we've created since 2008" moment. And then Cap hit us with the Avengers Assemble and just goosebumps, everywhere. That was literally a comic book coming to life and is probably my favorite scene from any of the 22 films.
Loved Steve's ending. They could have easily had Thanos kill him, but the route they took was better. Not for nothing, they can go back and tell more story with Steve and Peggy if Evans decides he wants to return. So that was well played. RDJ is 54 and he's been a perfect casting and I think he was the right choice to take that spot. They did a really nice job of humanizing him in the first act. He had the most to lose by going back and getting the stones and he made that sacrifice. He started it all, he finishes it.
All of the callbacks to Jane, and Frigga, and Peggy, and Howard, and getting the opening sequence from Guardians again, just great. I was really happy with how formidable they made Thanos as a warrior. Even without the stones, it took an army of heroes to stop him. When the villain matches the level of the heroes, the victory is so much sweeter. Marvel hasn't always delivered on the villains imo, but Thanos was perfect. I mean the guy watches his own death and takes satisfaction in his success. Valkyrie flying around on the horse (Aragorn?) was absolutely incredible. Even the nuance of the emotional scenes with Steve and Nat, Clint and Wanda, and Bucky and Sam were right on the money. Cassie and Scott, too. Just loved all of it.

This film pulled out every emotion inside of me. 11 years all leading up to this. But now, I’m hopeful the Disney+ service is Bucky and Falcon as Captain America’s. Seeing how they both have dawned the attire in comics.

I think only Sam will end up wearing the suit and not Bucky. I'm happy that the Disney Plus stories will connect to the films when they appear in them.

Such a good movie with a lot of surprises. If I only know one thing and it's this....every comic con is going to be FILLED with fat Thor's. Finally all you chubs can represent! LOL
Black Widow dying was a big shock. Heel Gamora with a face turn and not caring about Star Lord was sad. Fat Thor joining the "AS-Guardians of the Galaxy" was funny! Killing off Thanos at the start was a surprise but I loved his comeback and his demise. Valkyrie? Can she wear less clothes please! HOT! Elderly Captain America was sad but great to see. Ant-Man sucks. "Hulk Banner" was creepy but funny. I still don't care about Hawkeye. Dead Tony? Well, I guess he did turn into his father and left his daughter. Yea I understand he gave his life so she could live on. But damn that was sad. oh yea...Gweneth Paltrow? The craptiest actor around. Cannot emote and looked like she was reading her lines Marlon Brando style. Can't stand her.
Going to see the movie again tonight.

Knew most of what was coming. Very much upset when widow died. Great to see the black order back. Really a little let down they didn't set up a new threat at least a little. Great movie. Really plays games with your emotions, up and down for 3 ing hours.

I managed to avoid all spoilers and saw it today with a completely open mind and no expectations.
It was good, not on the level of Infinity War (which was virtually perfect and thus very hard to match) but still better than Age of Ultron and the first Avengers movie.
Fat Thor was great imho. He's a god so of course he's going to do things to excess, including wallowing in a pool of self pity and beer... lots and lots of beer.
There were a few gratuitous love letter to the fans type scenes that I could have done without but all the major characters had a nice arc to end their stories.
I wonder if we won't get a glimpse inside the soul stone one day to see a return of certain characters.
Not sure where the MCU goes next but my fingers are crossed that all this time hopping and finger snapping drew the attention of a certain insectoid baddie from another dimension who likes to ride the wave, if you know what I mean. *wink wink* Would be a nice way to introduce the Fantastic Four and Nova to the MCU.

What a movie. Well worth the wait, completely. I’m sad to see Tony and Cap go, more so Stark because I’ve been a huge RDJ fan for years and he was the perfect Tony Stark. Just a fantastic three hours and I’m sure I’ll be back in the theater before the weekend is up haha

Really enjoyed Endgame but I think Infinity War was just a touch better. Laughed when Korg and Meik appeared and Professor Hulks 'gratuitous destruction' scene was hilarious. Didn't really get how the quantum realm stuff enables time travel but I guess they can make up stuff to suit the narrative. Really enjoyed Thanos as a villain, arguably the best character over the 2 films. Loads of laughs and actions, great end to the story. Went to a midnight screening and everyone made the mistake of waiting for a post credits scene, when nothing showed it was the biggest collective groan you've ever heard haha.

An Australian friend of mine saw the film almost a day before us so I made sure to ask him if there were any bonus scenes. I didn't fancy hanging around at 3am if my time was gonna be wasted. Seemed like half the room left after the actor's montage so most of those probably knew too.
