As the Saudi Arabia stuff with the E hit the news fall '18 (and even spring '18), it all happened while knowing Trump was affiliated with Saudi Arabia, and Trump was affiliated also with the E and Linda McMahon specifically.
What would this Saudi Arabia situation been like if Hillary Clinton had won? The E connection to a country killing a journalist would still have been huge, but there wouldn't have been a connection between the sitting pres and the E, or between the sitting pres and Saudi Arabia.
