You forgot Kevin Conroy (Batman Mask of the Phantasm)
Anyway in order... 1. Adam West (grew up with him so he’ll always get the sentimental nod) 2. Kevin Conroy 3. Ben Affleck (a perfect mix of the original comic and Miller’s TDKR) 4. Christian Bale 5. Val Kilmer 6. George Clooney 7. Michael Keaton (the guy looks nothing like how I picture Bruce Wayne/Batman. He’ll always be Mr Mom to me.)
I think that’s all the theatrical released Batman actors in the last 50 years.

100% Keaton for me. The only real issue he has is the fact hes overshadowed in the first film by Jack Nicholson.

Michael Keaton by a mile for me. I would then probably go Ben Afleck second and Val Kilmer third. I know I am in the minority here, but the Nolan Batman films were not my cup of tea. I did enjoy them, but they were so up their own ass and pretentious that there was very little fun to be had with them.

Michael Keaton for sure. How is Clooney even an option? lol He fit the suit. I would have had him higher than Kilmer if not fit the nipples and poor script. The problem with Kilmer was Chris O’donnell as Robin looked to be in better shape. Keaton didn’t look very intimidating as Batman. His Bruce Wayne was good, but like I said above nothing about him looked anything like I pictured Batman/Bruce Wayne looking like. Plus I hated the soundtrack of the ‘89 movie and I didn’t think Returns was that great of a script. But the Batsuit was an improvement over the ‘89 film’s suit.

Yeah the soundtrack with all Prince songs wasn't my cup of tea either. The score by Danny Elfman on the other hand was fantastic. He definitely hit a home run there.

Bale is the only one that doesn't make me cringe. He actually looks like a billionaire playboy aswell.

I liked Keatons face (looked grim, funny considering he did start as a comedic actor). Physically, he's not imposing. It was his face I felt was right. The 89 soundtrack was hit or miss with me (Prince, while highly talented, still feels super dated here) but the score to Returns is a huge favorite of mine. Completely agree on the Returns suit being an improvement.

Speaking of the ‘89 -‘97 Batman films my wife received an email saying they’ll be in the theaters in May for one day each. Batman - 5/4 Returns - 5/6 Forever - 5/12 Batman & Robin - 5/14

Keaton, but Affleck deserves more respect than he got for wearing no muscle pieces to fill out the suit, the first one to do so since Adam West.
