These bands are constantly in the conversation as being the best bands of all time! Which one just doesn't do it for you? I say Pink Floyd personally. I think one album is reallly good but the rest was so-so. What say you guys? Which one do you think gets to much credit?

I know people are going to point out how influential the Beatles are and that's fine, but simply in terms of having songs I want to listen to the Beatles would be a distant fifth here.
Though if we're going with an unpopular opinion, Pink Floyd are the only ones I'd consider myself a "fan" of. The others just have songs here and there I dig.

Oh Pink Floyd for sure. If you're not 56, overweight and single, that music is hot garbage, all of it. Some of the lamest, most boring music ever produced. me.

none of them are overrated in the least.
Pink Floyd deals with conplex subjects and is an analysis on the human condition and existence so it doesn’t really surprise me that a lot of people wouldn’t ‘get’ them.

All of them but Pink Floyd the most. Cannot stand them and I will always turn the radio off when they are played.

Most people here are a younger crowd and will probably say Pink Floyd. The reason is that Pink Floyd was not a "singles" band and focused more on entire albums which is something i feel is lost in todays music. I am not the biggest Floyd fan but can tell the flaws.
Having said that for me personally I find it to be Zeppelin. They had a rough beginning with 1 & 2 got it together for the middle records and went downhill before the breakup. I think Stairway is one of the most overrated songs in all of music so for me it "helps" their case.
And Queen should probably be switch with The Who as Queen isn't mentioned much with the rest of the list. If you insert The Who, they get my vote and it wouldn't be close.

Never heard a Pink Floyd song that I've liked. I'm sure half the people who talk about Dark Side of The Moon like it's one of the greatest things to ever happen to music couldn't even name 3 songs from the album.

Beatles and Pink Floyd are the 2 I enjoy the least out of the 5.

For me from that list... Beatles Queen Pink Floyd
While they all have their place in music history or just history in general I feel with them for me I look at it like this...
The Beatles - for every song I do like there’s four or five I don’t like. I might not turn them off if I hear them on the radio, but most songs are just background noise to me.
Queen - I maybe like four or five songs from them.
Pink Floyd - I never cared for any of their work.

I don't feel any listed are particularly overrated, but gun to my head, I'd probably go with Queen - due solely to the amount of recent overhyping from Bohemian Rhapsody. They're definitely the hot band at the moment for people to go "Queen?! I ing love Queen!" but can't list off any of their songs aside from Rhapsody and We Will Rock You/We Are The Champions. I'm not a huge Beatles fan by any means, but I fully recognize their place in history and the amount of influence they had in music, so I can't call them overrated in good conscience. Also, one good album? The Wall? Animals? Wish You Were Here? Bah.

Don’t care for the Stones but not a single band on that list is over rated by any kind of quantifiable metric imo.

I wrote a paper in college about Pink Floyd's "Animals" being the greatest album ever released. To those of you saying they're overrated, form a line to the left so I can begin handing out slaps across the mouth. I love animals. peak songwriting and transcends the genre.

Overrated? Because all I see there is a list of five of the most influential bands of all time. Why not throw The Who, The Smiths, Sex Pistols, Velvet Underground, Ramones, Roxy Music, Kraftwerk, and Sabbath on there too?

The most overrated band is The Foo Figh....wait...never mind. I'm gonna go with The Beatles. They're not so much overrated as pretentious as Hell.
