maybe since they are the most followed and active social media entity in existence, people should be using that platform to openly and loudly mock and laugh at the complete and utter stupidity of "The Viking Experience"
and not in the way that like after a few months it will be ironically funny...like, so bad it's good territory.
no it really is one of the worst things they have ever done. bastion booger level of bad. friar ferguson, the goon, TL hopper...i mean seriously

This might be the breaking point guys, I think we truly have entered the time period where Vince has lost his mind and needs to go....not go from the earth or anything, but seriously...let your family take over the day to day and TV decisions...let Prichard get the gang back together. Just sit back and enjoy your life.
Because I'm pretty sure a 16 year old who's never watched a second of wrestling in their life could come up with a better name and/or character for 2 big dudes that are sorta sold as viking-esque

It’s a name. Who cares?
Call them Poopy Face and Peepee Face for all I care. The names will grow on us, as they usually do.
The talent being called up is what matters.

Decent picks. My only complaints are Andrade and Zelina Vega, Rey Mysterio, and Eric Young. Andrade and Zelina Vega’s move to Raw is premature. I feel like they had a lot left to accomplish before switching brands. Rey Mysterio made his name on SmackDown. He just isn’t a Raw guy. WWE breaking up Sanity saddens me. They were never given a chance. I think the Superstar Shakeup should be reserved for wrestlers who have done all that there is to do on their brand. I personally would have sent Randy Orton and Carmella to Raw. Oh, and what the  is The Viking Experience? |

Lacy Evans gets a title shot So Lacey Evans who has yet to wrestle one match until tonight is now in a number one contenders match. Yea this doesn't feel like some corporate agenda BS or anything here. Man it must be nice to have big boobs and blonde hair. Did Paige have blonde hair and big boobs when she debuted and won the title in her first match? Did Christian have big boobs when he won the Light-heavyweight title in his first match? Maybe that was why he used to wear that big shirt, he was embarrassed by them. Did Nicholas have blonde hair and big boobs? You pick some strange things to be upset about. |

I refuse to believe that anyone in the WWE actually thinks that The Viking Experience is a good name. This has to be done as some sort of "in" joke to the internet fans.
The War Raiders had it all. they could go in the ring, that looked bad ass, they had the fans chanting "WAR" and their name, "War Raiders" sounds badass. Why on earth would you change that? Surely someone in marketing must have said that War Raiders will sell a ton more shirts than The Viking Experience? The Viking Experience sounds like something your mom or school forces you to go to when you are 9!
Some say that a name means nothing, but I could not disagree any more. There is an Austin DVD when he says he got sent some of the worst names in history such as Fang McFrost. Do you really think that Austin would have taken off the way he did had he been called Fang McFrost instead of Stone Cold Steve Austin?

Honestly most hyped for the Usos on Raw. Ever since they started the Uso Penitentiary gimmick they just screamed Raw to me. And the tag division has been on a steady decline since last years wrestlemania. Hawkins and Ryder getting the belts at Mania was a cool moment but it seems like the last year has just been crappy random tag teams getting the belts. Starting with Braun/Nicholas then Bray/Matt, B-team, Gable and Roode. Revivals reigns have been so short and irrelevant theyve done nothing to help.

They are now listed as The Viking Experience on WWE.com as NXT champions.
So you're telling me they're going to go back and defend the titles and the NXT crowd is supposed to not remember they were The War Raiders? Absolute wow.

Better wrap things up. They only got THREE MINUTES!  Everyone in that gif is dead and im sad about it And I miss all 3. Props to Mae for taking bumps so late in life. She was really a tough woman. Also, I met Rosey and Jamal (Umaga) before they were on WWE television. I was on the floor for King of the Ring 2002 and they were in the crowd around a couple of reserved seats talking to officials before leaving to the event and we struck up a conversation because I remember seeing them on a wrestling show on one of the local stations here. I told them I remembered them from that and on their way out they shook my friend and I’s hands and Jamal (Umaga) said “Well brother, if all works out hopefully you’ll be seeing us a lot” I’ll never forget those words. Well that’s story nostalgia from my younger years for today... it was cool how nice they were though. |

Thoughts on the show
Lacey Evans is pure talent. It baffles me that people don’t see it already. She has a presence to her and she’s a tough cookie.
Natalia is not the best there is currently, she was never the best there was, and she’s already not the best there ever will be. I’m glad the crowd totally went flat for that one.
Like anything, it’s debatable if Bret is best as well, but atleast it’s debatable in his case. Natalia ummmmm no.
Viking characters have done so well in WWE. Let’s list all of the great ones....The Berserker.......oh yea, never mind, they all suck.

Last night may have been the nail in the coffin of my fandom. They completely destroyed SDL and ruined yet another NXT Tag Team upon arrival with a intellectually- disabled and unnecessary name change. Tonight SDL will get Reigns and the rest will be heels. Roman will now have an entire roster to tear through for more boring television. SERIOUSLY THE VIKING ING EXPERIENCE?  ? It sounds like a 3D ride at Universal Studios...WTF |

Super frustrated with how this happens every year.
Seventeen people arrived on Raw last night. SEVENTEEN. Am I supposed to believe creative has pushes and storylines for seventeen new characters at once?
The draft should be limited to five or six per brand, and it should only be one existing main eventer and then for or five others who are getting a reboot/push, not half the roster switching sides; that's the same as no change whatsoever.

Changing their name from War Raiders to Viking Experience was probably because they had to make it more kid friendly for their PG rating. But who cares as long as they can go in the ring they’ll be fine.
