He’s done for good if it’s another concussion. Them being quiet about this makes me believe that’s the case. As a big fan of his, I’d be okay if he has to retire for good. He finally got the legit title run he deserved and the match with Lesnar he wanted. There’s not really much left for him to accomplish and with him being a husband and father he needs to think about his long term future and quality of life.

I think he could be moving to Raw. Theres nothing for him on SD. That would explain removing him from house shows.

It wouldn't shock me if he had to retire again. The guy was determined to make himself a vegetable, so meh! Whatever. Either that or the next Beniot

I will feel bad if he has to retire as he's a tremendously gifted athlete, but he brought this on himself. He's on borrowed time with concussions. Hope he retires quietly this time around.
Funny though, no one cares that Kofi was involved. Had Jinder, Nia, or Rollins been in the match we'd be angry and up in arms.

Had it been any of them Orton/Roman/etc any one else that gets crap on here there would be an uproar. People are dumb

^ I don’t know about that! I believe this all falls 100% on DB if it’s another concussion. I said it back when he was trying to come back that it was a bad idea and he should just stay retired. There was no reason for him to come back. And to come back with the same style that got him hurt was just asinine. I have never felt him to be a safe worker to begin with. There’s been plenty of matches in the past where he actually connected solidly with a kick or stomp.

Before, he would just fall backwards. Now, it's sort of like a flip onto his side where he protects himself. I don't recall him trying the headbutt. And really, if people's speculation is right, the injury came from the curb stomps given by Kofi. I know you have to agree to take moves, but it seems odd to blame it on him for that.

But he still does the dives which are so unnecessary. And I am thinking it was when Kofi was holding his arms and stomping on his face/head which is a move he does quite a bit to others. And I have seen him connect with others heads/faces plenty of times. So to take that move knowing another concussion could end his career is foolish especially knowing how many times he himself had botched it when delivering it.

There’s an update that there’s actually no real reports that he’s injured. So it’s basically just all dirtsheet BS atm

I just hope he can walk and hold his child. I'm thankful he finally got a decent run with the world's title like he deserved. Thank God for Bryan Danielson.

A whole lot of doctors in this thread.

It always cracks me up that with ZERO real knowledge of the extent of his previous injuries people make assumptions.
"Hes going to end up a vegetable"
"I hope he can walk and hold his child".
You are 100000000% guessing. His actual prognosis is between him and his doctor, the end, and he's been scarce with details, probably for exactly this reason of the general public acting like doctors based on dirtsheets or things they read on social media.

hopefully it’s nothing serious or even nothing at all. I’ve really enjoyed Daniel’s time back so far.

From what people are saying, Bryan was suppose to be Kofi's opponent at the next PPV. And Owens was suppose to remain a face for awhile longer. But with Bryan hurt, the decision was made to have Owens fill that spot. I wish they had waited a few more weeks to pull the trigger though. This may be good in a way. If it's nothing too serious, and Bryan just needs a few weeks off, he can return after Kofi has built up a bit more momentum. Pick up where he left off and maybe get another run with the title. Then they'll feed the champion to Roman in October.

He had his good year of a run, became WWE champion again, walked into WM as the champ. He needs to know his limits before he regrets it.

Thank god, I knew it wasn’t serious and they’ve just been keeping him off TV until they have a storyline for him. Makes it feel more realistic that the former champion is sulking from his lose and not showing up
