I am the first to say that I loathed the Roode and Gable tag team mainly because it was a downgrade for Roode. Now that they have been split I curious of what direction the WWE will take him.
He was an amazing heel in NXT and quite frankly he deserves to be a top act on Raw. But I can't help but fear that he could end up becoming a jobber which would be a shame. Looking at how far Nakamura, Sanity and Asuka dropped I hope Roode doesn't follow.

I'm hoping for a good mid card heel run. A feud with Miz could be entertaining.
But I'm also not against a Roode & EC3 tag team/stable with Drake Maverick as a manager.

You’re saying Roode hasn’t dropped to that level? He’s been for a while. Hopefully they do something to raise him back up. As a heel of course. Why anyone thinks the Glorious gimmick is pure babyface is beyond me.

Roode will turn heel and likely end up with whatever midcard title lands on Raw over the next year. I’d love to see him win MITB, honestly. I don’t think WWE sees him at that level at almost 42 years old. I enjoyed his time with Gable for the most part. He’s still one half of one of the greatest tag teams in wrestling history. So I think the lowest he ever sinks is a great tag team guy for WWE. As a singles heel, though, he’s capable of being as good as it gets, as reflective of what he did in TNA in 2011.
I definitely want that heel singles run out of him but I’d love to see BMI in WWE before it’s too late. I don’t think it’s too late to bring Cowboy in and do that run for a year or two. I’m genuinely happy Roode has had so much success in WWE. Call it resume fluffing if you want but he’s already been NXT, US and Tag Champion.

Roode is dead in the water. He should honestly go back to NXT. He has done absolutely nothing memorable.

There's been "reports" that Vince & Roode have a good relationship. But that Vince doesn't want to push him too much because of his age. While I can understand that to a degree, I think it's a waste of time and money not to do something/anything more than they are now.

Which is funny because Roode is only three months older than Cena, six months older than Styles, and seven months older than Bork Laser.

Sadly, as much of a fan I was of Roode in TNA, I haven't really enjoyed much of anything he's done in WWE dating back to his NXT days. A few bright spots for me are the match with Itami in Chicago and the feud with Dillinger but not much else.
I thought he was going to be gold when he won the US Title, but boy did they kill that quick by having him drop it a month later to Orton just so he could drop it to Mahal just so he could drop it to Hardy.
Not a fan of the thrown together teams, Roode and Gable never clicked for me. I honestly forgot they won the tag titles at some point.
Like said above if he wants to stand a chance he needs to be a heel again. Heel Roode backed by Shane vs. Miz could be fun.

I think Bobby Roode would've been perfect for WWE 10-20 years ago. But he's something of a throwback wrestler now, and his performances have rarely been anything above mediocre. Great music though.

If WWE was smart, they'd push him towards the main event. But of course, they're gonna waste Roode.

Bobby Roode is a guy who should have made the jump to the WWE like a decade earlier,he's also a guy that wait so long to finally make the jump that at the point he did he was better off staying in TNA/IMPACT same goes with Eric Young. But with both men now on RAW I think they should reform Team Canada and get into the tag team mix.Just don't see either man getting really big singles pushes in the main event scene or upper mid card scene with Rollins,Styles,Black,Ricochet,McIntrye,Lashely,Corbin,Joe,Mysterio,Andrade...ect all being around.
Another interesting thing the could do if the WWE wants a heel stable on RAW is to turn AJ Styles heel again and team him up with his TNA buddies in Joe,Roode & Young. Those four men to me are 4/10 biggest names and stars in TNA/IMPACT history and pretty much the only 4 of that top ten that can still go in the ring(baring James Storm who's pretty much just fallen off the map)

Bobby Roode is living proof that it's better to be the big fish in a small pond, than to be a fish in the giant ocean that is the WWE.

Bobby Roode is in as good of shape as any of the young guys. There’s no reason he can’t be WWE Champion. Vince is a fool.

I've said it before but Roode just needs to be 2003 Triple H. Walk around in a suit and sunglasses, cut overly long and uninteresting promos, and have lots of average matches. Ultimate heel. I can not believe he has ever been a babyface

We have never had as many TNA guys signed at the same time but I doubt the WWE would ever group them together.

He’s easily one of the guys who could be main everting Raw as a top Heel right now. In fact , him Lashley and Drew should be the top heels on Raw

I’ve been following Roode since 2004 in TNA. He was a fantastic heel as the “IT Factor” of wrestling and he was a fantastic heel in TNA. He’s got a great look, can talk, and go in the ring. I cannot figure out why Vince wouldn’t push him besides for the TNA history (which hasn’t held AJ and Joe back).
I hope he starts to gain some momentum as a singles guy but won’t hold my breath. If he was a free agent today there’d be a lot of Indy feds trying to sign him knowing what he can do.

He needs to be a heel and drop the robe and theme song. I hate his Glorious song cuz I think it killed his character.
