My family was having this discussion over breakfast. My parents and their siblings weren't ever big on giving us candy, so that was exchanged out of a Easter basket for a gift.
I think I pinpointed that 25 years ago this Easter is when I received the red card hasbros of Bret Hart, Undertaker, Yokozuna, and Mr. Perfect. The following year (or year after) I ended up getting stretch figures of Bret Hart and Lex Luger, along with a pair of Bret Hart sunglasses.
We found an Easter photo from years later (which sparked the conversation) where my cousin got a BCA Jim Cornette.
Did anyone else ever get figures?

I'm still baffled on how kids get presents for Easter. A basket with candy, sure, But presents?

Yeah I got the rubber LJN type of figures WCW Hogan. Usually I got one toy or something and then the rest candy. Sometimes I got a video game and then candy.

my OSFTM Jimmy Hart & TMNT April O'Neal came in my easter baskets. Possibly other figures when I was younger. I know for a fact those two for I want to say 93/94 or 94/95. I know they were back to back years

The very last time I was given an Easter present, it was this Rebellion 2 Rock: It was one of those "hey, I like that figure but I'd probably not actually buy it myself" kinda presents, so I appreciated getting it.

Hard to remember, but possibly got an LJN or two over the years as a kid.

I'm still baffled on how kids get presents for Easter. A basket with candy, sure, But presents? It was more affordable back in the day when hasbros were $4. A hasbro figure > $4 worth of candy.

My mom has a picture of me with a basket that has two PWI Magazines, HBK & Razor Yellow Card Hasbros, and some candy.
Was by far my favorite Easter as a kid.

Yes. Yellow Mr. Perfect. I got figures in all of my Easter baskets growing up. I got Usagi Yojimbo that way and Gambit and Colossus one year, too. I usually got one movie, one or two figures, and then candy. I did the same for my son this year in his basket.

The Easter Bunny (my wife) brought me a Funko Series 1 WWE Mystery Mini blind box. Was expecting ANOTHER John Cena, of which I already have four (or at least another double. I was missing the Rock, Daniel Bryan & Ric Flair out of the general release set). Opened it up and was surprised by Bryan!!

Yes, the one year I specifically remember getting the rest of the red card Hasbro series I needed (Bret, Taker, Yoko). Great gift. I probably got others but my birthday is also around the same time, so hard to remember between the 2.

My parents are and were awesome. That being said, they would let me pick up a figure because it was easter. The Ruthless Aggression figures were the jam, man.

Yes, me and my brothers weren’t really candy eaters, so Easter was kind of a mini-Christmas.

I used to get small toys and stuffed animals at Easter, but I was too old for wrestling figures when they came out.

I don’t think I remember ever getting wrestlers for Easter. The only thing other than your standard basket of candy I remember getting is some Hot Wheels. I think that was usually the normal gift for my brother and me at Easter, either a few individual Hot Wheels or one of those 5 packs of Hot Wheels.
