Cesaro and Roode’s wins were the highlight of RAW.

ok.. so I like Bray Wyatt and I think character-wise he can make anything work because it seems like he puts himself all into the character. I think he's still going to be a heel though as fans will boo this character out of the building...
and...
The Viking Raiders sounds like Vince's direct shot at the NFL...

like it or not, Corbin is one of the most over heels on the roster in terms of actual heel heat the guy gets more than most guys It’s more go away heat than anything. Real heat doesn’t exist anymore in this day and age unless you suck and the fans know you suck. Nobody is going to pay to watch Baron Corbin get his ass kicked like they did for Flair in the 80’s or Triple H in the late 90’s/2000’s. Sure Corbin has heat, but it’s not the type of heat that you’re saying it is. Heat is heat. The guy is hated, which is the entire point of a heel. It doesnt matter how he got it, but he has heat. |

Lots of stuff I liked tonight. Opening segment was generic but still worked because Rollins had the home town crowd. Roode’s glorious mustache, more Becky and Lacey build, and Bray Rogers. I’ll take the Viking Raiders over the the Viking Experience all day. At least they changed it.
Getting AJ vs Rollins feels premature but I’d rather have them do it and say it happened than risk not having it happen at all. So at least we don’t have to Hollywood Hogan the deal if someone gets hurt or whatever.

Go away heat isn’t you doing your job well. but what is it that makes fans want him to go away? i dont get it.....the guy is decent in the ring, he's actually pretty good on the mic overall, his material is generic but thats the entire product lately. the only real down side of him is his ring attire, lol. he came from NXT, people  ing LOVED him there, i remember reading things like "next undertaker" about the guy...no joke. he's a "home grown" guy. i just dont understand the legit hatred there are WAY worse talent on the roster now and have come through the last 10 years or so than Baron Corbin, im not saying he needs to be a dominant heel world champion...but the guy has a place on the roster and i dont mind his work |

It actually works...
The Lake of Reincarnation actually reincarnated Bray Wyatt.
The effects may have been a bit slow to arrive but it happened.
Also, is it just me or does Bray Wyatt sound like DDP in that promo? If i simply listened to the audio with no video, i would have thought it was DDP talking.

I love Bray Wyatt’s character change and can’t wait to see where it goes.
I’m excited for AJ Styles versus Seth Rollins, but think it should have been saved for SummerSlam.

You could swap Baron Corbin in that sentence for Daniel Bryan, Samoa Joe, Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley or any other heel in WWE. Nobody draws like an old-school heel these days. But of all WWE’s upper card bad guys, Corbin is at least the one people like seeing win least. |

Overall a well-booked RAW for a change. Every creative decision made sense, perhaps apart from Naomi squashing Billie Kay. Although I really don't know what to think about that Bray Wyatt segment. I'm not a fan of Roode's name change though. To me, "Bobby Roode" sounds a lot better than "Robert Roode". Thrilled that we're getting the dream match of AJ Styles versus Seth Rollins!
