WWE Champion Kofi Kingston to battle Shinsuke Nakamura
Last week on SmackDown LIVE, with Big E recovering from injury, Kevin Owens stepped in as an honorary member of The New Day. He then helped WWE Champion Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods overcome Cesaro, Shinsuke Nakamura & Rusev in a Six-Man Tag Team Match.
This week, “Big O” and Woods will be at ringside when Kingston battles The King of Strong Style one-on-one.
Will Roman Reigns be fired?
Last week at the culmination of Superstar Shake-up 2019, Mr. McMahon promised the biggest acquisition in SmackDown LIVE history, and the WWE Chairman delivered … Elias. But, before the WWE Universe could even catch their collective breath, Roman Reigns suddenly emerged as the newest addition to SmackDown LIVE and delivered Superman Punches to both Mr. McMahon and his acquisition.
The Big Dog has declared that the blue brand is his new yard! But, will Reigns find himself out of a job tonight for his actions against the Chairman?
Becky Lynch to come face-to-face with Charlotte Flair for the first-time since WrestleMania

Poor Shinsuke. Getting fed again. Although if my theory holds true, he's going to win the WWE title. Why? IWC favorites (most recently Asuka, but before Roode) will hold a secondary title when the main focus of a brand/company is on a different story. Right now, the focus is on Reigns/Elias/McMahon. So, now guys like Kofi and Shinsuke can get their time in the sun by holding this title that very few casual fans will pay attention to. The focus is on DA BIG DOG

Bryan vs Kofi and Orton vs Reigns are scheduled to be dark matches for tonight. Hope to see Bryan back on TV soon.

I'm hoping they go all in on this Owens part of New Day thing. Then one week when Kofi isn't available we get a Owen/Woods tag match. Mid match have Owens absolutely decimate Woods. Setting up Kofi vs Owens one on one. Go with the story that Kofi is alone for the first time in years. And then when Kofi prevails, it will make him look even stronger.
I'd also like to see Nakamura rack up a few more wins in the upcoming months. Maybe over Ali, Crews, Gable, Benjamin, & Truth. Because an eventual feud with Finn or Aleister could be gold.

I might actually cheer for Roman if he came out right now and hit a half dozen superman punches and spears on Shane.
Or I might check the TV schedule to see what else is on right now.
It would be a 50/50 toss up.
