what is wrong with this company seriously?
do they just not understand how to BUILD A STORY anymore? everything is done in like 2 weeks or 4 weeks. the kofi thing was the longest i think theyve spent on a storyline in forever. they dont even give you a chance to get invested in anything before they automatically change it because "sweeeerve bro"

I'm hoping they go all in on this Owens part of New Day thing. Then one week when Kofi isn't available we get a Owen/Woods tag match. Mid match have Owens absolutely decimate Woods. Setting up Kofi vs Owens one on one. Go with the story that Kofi is alone for the first time in years. And then when Kofi prevails, it will make him look even stronger. I was kinda close. Slightly. |

Has to build to Kofi’s challenger at MITB. Who better than a heel Owens? nobody is better than him...but i didnt need better right now. let Kofi have a few simple title defenses before he gets the Big Boss Battle. if they build Nak or Rusev to Kofi that would have been great. Kofi could have won out over BOTH of them on consecutive PPVs to build some stock. Now we just get KO doing the same thing he's always done, saying the same stuff, and literally less than 2 weeks of people even caring about it in the first place. its just lazy boring storytelling, they dont  ing CARE about anything anymore, its just for moments week to week |

I don’t wanna see Kofi lose the title yet and especially not too Owens.
Big KO fan but personally I think he should win the title next year. Have Kofi hold it for the entire year or at least half the year, then give the belt back to Bryan.

Probably because Kofi was never meant to be WWE Champion. And they kind of had to go that route after the fans demanded it.
But now?? Vince can go back to his regularly scheduled program of not having Kofi be WWE Champion.

I was hoping face Kevin Owens would actually last and go somewhere. Felt this was coming, but I was hoping Kevin would just peacefully leave when Big E came back. Oh well. This betrayal could have waited a bit longer though.

I figured it's okay to still share my thoughts on Smackdown despite not threadheading. Thanks to KeBen Owens and Crossfit Jesus for taking up the reigns lol Kinda hate seeing KO turn already. Seems like Orton is the only guy allowed to carry out an angle longer than a couple weeks. Wonder if this means Bryan is definitely out of commission. Just cannot stand Charlotte's insistence to talk over everyone during promos. It's the gimmick and everything but god d*mn. Like Roman, leaves me thinking of popping that b*tch in the mouth. Random wish we'd get an Elite Chad Gable in that attire so I can piece together a simple Ibushi custom. |

I'm sorry, but they could have really benefited from the strange bedfellows routine with Owens and New Day. New Six Man Tags, Traditional Tags, Singles matches with different outside elements, and built weeks worth of matches out of it. It would have given them time to build up the challengers so Kofi could at least defend through October and lose it around Halloween after having Owens betray them. You could have even had Owens win a spot in money in the bank.
But no... Smackdown will be the Roman show with Kofi and Balor playing second fiddle by Summerslam. Because even Leukemia can't get Roman Reigns over completely. I respect the Hell out of him, but I don't want to go back to 2016 with everything #MAKEROMANLOOKSTRONG.

Really Boring ass heel Owens again? Did they rehire Russo??? this is why their ratings suck and will continue to suck. Face Owens was a breath of fresh air, but back to being Boring Heel owens, going back to the same old tired promos about Canada being better or some shit.

man they have completely destroyed the entire "aura" about Shinsuke.....its just so dumb, he turned heel and literally acted exactly the same, has done absolutely nothing and most of his "big" matches have been really underwhelming That’s on him. I have been saying this since he debut. He had one great debut match vs Sami in NXT and has done nothing remotely entertaining since. The guy is nothing but an entrance. |
