WWE Raw preview, April 29, 2019: Alexa Bliss gets a “Money” exclusive on her talk show
On a special edition of “A Moment of Bliss,” Alexa Bliss will reveal the Raw participants in this year’s Men’s and Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Matches. Which red brand Superstars will compete for a guaranteed title opportunity at the time and place of their choosing?
A WWE Money in the Bank edition of “A Moment of Bliss”
The host of WrestleMania 35 is full of surprises. On Raw, exclusively on her talk show, “A Moment of Bliss,” Alexa Bliss will reveal the Raw participants in both the Men’s and Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Matches, to be held at WWE Money in the Bank on Sunday, May 19.
Bliss shocked the world last June when she parlayed her Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match victory into a Raw Women’s Championship win that very night. Which red brand competitors will battle for a championship opportunity at the time and place of their choosing?
A Phenomenal foe for The Beastslayer
By winning a Triple Threat Match and defeating Baron Corbin in this past Monday night’s main event, AJ Styles punched his ticket to a Universal Championship Match against Seth Rollins on Sunday, May 19, at WWE Money in the Bank.
This marks the first time The Phenomenal One has squared off against The Beastslayer one-on-one. Is The Architect ready for this new challenge?
Call him Robert Roode
With a more formal moniker and a ruthless attitude, Robert Roode was taking names – and changing his own – this past Monday night, when he grounded Ricochet with a Glorious DDT that cemented his status as a singles competitor on Monday Night Raw in the wake of the Superstar Shake-up.
Will Roode maintain that momentum?
Cesaro and Samoa Joe become Raw Superstars
The McMahon Family continued to shake things up this past week, adding United States Champion Samoa Joe and the imposing Cesaro to the ranks of Team Red, both of whom had strong showings in their first nights back on Raw.
Will anyone dare to challenge The Samoan Submission Machine for his United States Title? And how will The Swiss Superman fare as a singles competitor now that he’s seemingly separated from his longtime tag team partner Sheamus?
Man down (but not out)
Although Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch handily defeated Alicia Fox on Raw, Lacey Evans got the better of The Man when she connected with two Woman’s Rights after the match.
The Lady of WWE will challenge Lynch for the Raw Women’s Title at WWE Money in the Bank, and if she lands just one of those jaw-rattling punches that night, Becky Two Belts might need to consider a new nickname.
Speaking of her dual prizes, as we saw on SmackDown LIVE, Lynch will also be defending her SmackDown Women’s Title at WWE Money in the Bank against Charlotte Flair. Will The Man be able to focus on two dangerous opponents in a single night?
The “Firefly Fun House” is open
Bray Wyatt is back, and he’s brought some friends with him. The erstwhile Eater of Worlds returned to Raw this past Monday night by inviting us into the “Firefly Fun House” and officially introducing Mercy the Buzzard and Abby the Witch, two unsettling characters who have been mysteriously popping up on both Raw and SmackDown LIVE since WrestleMania.
Wyatt is friendlier than we remember him, but we’d be lying if we said he didn’t creep us out this past Monday night. What else does this chainsaw-wielding-but-cheery Superstar have in store?
Don’t miss Raw, live at 8/7 C on USA Network!

The Fun House segment is the thing I'm looking forward to most tonight.
Don't @ at me.
EDIT: Looking at my data situation, I'll probably have to skip tonight. Be nice to each other, except the d*cks that like Lacey Evans over Becky Lynch lol

Honestly all I'm hoping for tonight is that Alexa Bliss is NOT a participant in this year's Women's Money in the Bank match. She can't win if she's not in the match. She's absolutely fantastic in non-wrestling roles, but after her 2016-2018 championship runs, I don't want to see her win anything ever again. Especially not to ruin one of the year's best events like in last year's Money in the Bank. That PPV stopped me watching for a good few weeks.

I know the obvious references are Mr. Rogers, Blues Clues and other modern children's shows,Pee Wee's Playhouse, Candle Cove etc. But one thing I also thought of as soon as I saw the Firefly Fun House was Adult Swim's 'Mr. Neighbor's House' for anyone that might remember the special they aired. It looks like some influence and inspiration came from there too.

Hopefully Bray can run with it and make it good but as of now it's more cringe than anything else for me.

Between Avengers: Endgame on Saturday and Game of Thrones last night, I don't imagine I will be all that entertained by Raw tonight. So bring on Alexa Bliss and the Firefly Fun House and I'll hope for the best.
Given the mass exodus of viewers during last weeks show, it will be interesting to see how Raw is laid out tonight.

They try hard as hell to see how much they can get away with making Alexa look like a hooker each week

Strowman's win was a bigger waste than Corbin's.

Who was the last wrestler to win MITB and successfully cash in? I honestly can't remember.
EDIT: male wrestler specifically. Women haven't had a long enough MITB history for me to care yet.
