TBH, I have a soft spot for this one. Between the Jason vs android fight to the emergence of cyber-Jason it plays the sci fi/horror campiness to the max. I think anybody who can't enjoy it at least a little is probably taking their slasher flicks too seriously. |

I think it was the original one. The one were Kevin Bacon took the arrow through his throat. But they are all a blur to me now. There were a few I didn’t see also.

Final Chapter. Not as good but I still kind of love Freddy vs Jason, too. The dialogue is phenomenal.

Jason Takes Manhattan is a guilty pleasure of mine. They're all fun to watch for certain reasons, but that's one that I'll go out of my way to turn on every couple of years and I get a kick out of the ridiculousness of it.

I'm a huge fan of them all but I do love "The Final Chapter" part 4. I do also enjoy part 5 as well. Some of the hottest girls in the movies. lol
Anyone ever check out the punk band "The Jasons"? Their new CD just came out and I'm going to see them live in Chicago in June.

I like the first 2 the most.The first one was surprising that it was a women who did the killing.
And part 2 because we see Jason for the first time,even though he did not have the iconic hockey mask yet,but a bag over his head.
And the camp in part 2 was located next to camp Crystal Lake.
Two things I didn't really like were the deaths of Alice and Crazy Ralph.

I'll have to ask JDSFullmetal on this one. It's been so long since I've seen them, but he and I binged most of them a few years ago on Netflix because I'd never seen them and he's a huge slasher fan. I can't recall which one I reacted to the most. Probably the first one with Kevin Bacon. But I just recently watched Jason X and didn't hate it, and for some reason Jason Takes Manhattan is sticking in my mind. |

I desperately wanted to love X as it sounds tailored specifically for me but I hate it. Goes To Hell is so batSh*t with incredible gore that I have a soft spot for it. 8 is a very difficult film to sit through. It should be 20 minutes shorter.
