If it’s a real match, Reigns. If it’s a squash, someone like Lio Rush. Or maybe Robert Roode. Elias would be perfect for that, but he’ll be getting squashed by Taker that night, I think.

Hard to tell since the best kind of Goldberg match is a squash match. If that's the case then I could see him taking on or interrupting Elias or Baron Corbin. Part of me also wants to finally see Undertaker vs. Goldberg...against my better judgement at this point in their careers.

Awesome News! Clearly no one expects much, give me the entrance, A few punches and kicks, the spear and jackhammer and I’ll be happy.
Also saw that the Undertaker will be performing, also give us the entrance, play the hits (old school, sit up, choke slam, tombstone)

I'm certainly not the biggest Goldberg fan, but I'm glad to see his relationship with WWE is still doing well. I could see him working with Sami Zayn. Someone the company trusts to help Goldberg look good and someone who won't be affected by a quick loss.

Zayn isn't going over there. He didn't go last time, (did he?). Kind of weird Goldberg is (insert emoji of two pennies being rubbed together)

Im pretty sure his religion or nationality is the reason he didnt go the first time around. I'm even surprised Goldberg is going there, but im sure Goldberg not the only jewish person to go for WWE. You're right that they'll put someone who can make Goldberg look good

If they want Goldberg to squash someone hated who wouldn’t really be hurt by a quick loss, then I volunteer Baron Corbin.

Goldberg vs. Taker. Book it.
Billed as Brock Lesnar's victims facing each other for the first time ever.

Based on replies, people seem to want Goldberg vs Undertaker, or Goldberg vs Reigns.
I don't think Goldberg is coming back to lose, and Taker has lost his last 2 matches (Super Showdown AND Crown Jewel). Taker needs a win.
Unless the RAW after Mania was just a one off, I always assumed we'd see Undertaker vs. Elias at the next Saudi show. The roster shake up and the Reigns/Elias feud may have changed that.
Similarly, I don't know if WWE wants Reigns to lose at such a big show, so him fighting Goldberg might not be a fit, either. Unless they are just paying Goldberg a boatload of money to come in and job...his return wouldn't seem right to me if he lost.
Lost in that article is that BROCK LESNAR is also appearing. With the belief being that after WrestleMania he was DONE with WWE....clearly, The Beast is still in play,...for the right price.

That's funny because the Saudi prince also asks, "Who's next... to get hacked into little pieces?"

bring back Scotty Steiner and let’s have them fight it out like they did in wcw 20 years ago!
I’d straight up see if Nash was down for taking a spear and jackhammer too.

So basically some poor guy will lose in a 30 second match.
