Rollins/AJ was certainly match of the night. I was one of the biggest supporters of Lesnar but his direction for a few years now has been bad news. at one point people were clamouring to see his house show appearances on bootleg videos, now they just want him to go away.

Looks like the Universal title is gonna be held hostage again in the near future.

the stars in the hair would look cool on a figure of Bayley That gear was amazing too, but the cost would be ridiculous probably for a figure. A “Bayley Cashes In” like Seth’s TRU figure would be SICK...

Amusing how many people are trashing Brock and how he doesn't show up, and how Vince has a thing for him, and how all the talents must hate his guts, and how Brock is the bane of this company. All things that were driving factors in Brock's last feud with Reigns (and will be again). If you trash Lesnar, you support Reigns in my eyes. I ain't falling into that trap. I'll take Suplex City on cruise control five times a year over da Roman Empire all day, evur day. I'd rather support Roman than lesnar anyday. at least Roman isn't always absent.

Despite how exceedingly poor the weekly TV product has been for the past few weeks, Money in the Bank was a really good PPV! That's the main event result aside, of course. Money in the Bank got off to a fantastic start! As much as I wanted Sasha to return to win it, Bayley was an excellent choice to win. Great to know that they're building Bayley back up as a serious challenger. And at least they made it clear that Sasha will be returning soon, with her constant namedropping in Bayley's post-match promo. Honestly, I'm not complaining, because it was quite funny, but it sounded like the main point of the promo was to fit Sasha into the promo as many times as possible. Honestly with the crowd booing at the mere mention of Sasha's name (guess there's a lot of people who believe everything they read on the internet, despite being debunked by herself, the IIconics, and Cathy Kelly, to name a few), it seems pretty clear that Sasha should return as a heel. It's about time too, she's spent 3 years as a face and has honestly become stale. She needs a heel turn to revitalise herself. I had no doubt that Becky would retain against Lacey, but Becky seemed to get quite an easy win against Lacey, which surprised me. I expected her to be more beaten up for Charlotte to get a clean win. I didn't expect Lacey to interfere to help Charlotte. So that was an engaging turn of events. No surprise that Charlotte won the SmackDown Women's Championship (one superstar holding both brand's titles would be silly in the long-term). But I didn't expect the post-match double-team beat-down. Nor did I expect Bayley to come to Becky's rescue. That was a really great moment when her music hit and the crowd popped. It was even greater moment when Bayley cashed in! That was honestly the highlight of the night. After having zero credibility as a singles performer since Extreme Rules 2017, Bayley is finally back not only as a credible competitor, but as a Women's Champion! Now they just need to restore Sasha's credibility, and all Four Horsewomen will be where they belong, as the top stars of the division. Honestly, I have mixed feelings about Lesnar's return to Money in the Bank. On one hand, I have absolutely no interest in him as a performer. He just drags the quality of the product down, even further than it already is, and leaves RAW without a World title for the rest of the roster to fight for. He's easily one of the most boring wrestlers ever. However on the other hand, it was completely unexpected, and genuinely shocked me, and it was a unique look for Brock Lesnar to hold Money in the Bank. However on the whole, I think it was a mistake, and a complete waste of Money in the Bank. I believe that the MITB briefcase should only ever be used to build new stars, or to revitalise stars who've fallen down. Honestly though, why can't Brock Lesnar just off?! Both times he's lost the Universal title, we think we've finally gotten rid of him, only for him to show up again to win it back. I really hope that earlier post reporting that half the crowd started leaving the moment he left is true, because somebody needs to tell Vince that Brock is far more of a hindrance than he is a help. At least with the way they book him to hold the World title hostage, he is. Whatever the new title being revealed on RAW is, they should just award it to Brock so he can stay away from the Universal title, since he clearly MUST hold a championship at all times. Even with my issues with Lesnar's return aside, Money in the Bank was still really good, and kept me watching, rather than losing interest as I do more often than not with WWE PPVs. The Women's Division made this show for me. I'd probably give it 8/10.

Again, Lesnar wasnt scheduled as a contestant...can he win regardless? If the script says brock wins then yes. So, going by this, any mortal could jump the barrier and take the briefcase, get a titleshot at any time... no sense at all.

Interesting to note that the record of nobody defending 2 singles titles on the same night successfully still exists.

I didn’t watch this yet. I turned it on after GOT only to see Brock sitting atop the ladder with the briefcase. So I guess if Kofi is still the SD Champion he’ll be losing to Brock and then at some point in the near future Roman will be taking the title off Brock.

What the was that all about? Vince must be so desperate that he booked Lesnar to win the ing ladder match. Now I see why people hate the current state of WWE and the talent ask for the their release from their contracts or want to quit. Brock Lesnar is only in it for the money but damn talk about ing over your full time talent excluding Randy Orton who is somewhat a part time performer at the moment. God damn Vince needs to step down because he is loosing his ing mind with bullcrap like this. man! they are all only in it for the money lol

So, going by this, any mortal could jump the barrier and take the briefcase, get a titleshot at any time... no sense at all. first of all, not to Pat myself on the back, but I called it a minute they removed braun and Sami from the the Money in the Bank match. Brock was taking the case. I actually posted my thought and prediction right before all the intros on my Twitter. the writing was clear. Someone was attacking personnel backstage. Triple h one of the put a stop to it. He cut a deal with Heyman once he figured out who was doing the attacks. The only person whose character would fit this would be a rampaging Brock Lesnar. Braun is a face he's not going to go around attacking people. there is no other monster he'll out there aside from Lars Sullivan. And he already showed his face at the Pay-Per-View. Thus the only person left with Brock Lesnar.

I enjoyed Money in the Bank, I only really check in to watch PPV's these days but I thought it was a damn good show. Really enjoyed both World Title matches, the Balor bump in the ladder match was nuts, and Bayleys win and cash in was booked great! Lesnar, I don't know how I feel about that. I don't see the point in giving him the briefcase when clearly it was always a concept to put over an up 'n coming star (at least that's how it started out). Lesnar could have walked into a title match, he doesn't need it. Feels like an absolute waste.

Who's to say Lesnar doesn't cash in on Kofi and go to fox. Big name and all, but would FOX really want a guy who is also affiliated with the company they let walk to a rival broadcaster, so they could afford a WWE property in the first place?

I can see that I'm in the minority here but I thought the show was awful. That said, Rollins vs AJ was predictably incredible. It was actually better than I expected. I'd say that it was a match that will be looked back on as one of the better matches in this decade. Match of the year contender of course, but this was even better than that. This was....an NXT caliber match in terms of in ring action. The facial expressions and body language culminating with AJ's handshake at the end were all expertly done. This made the show worth watching. Kofi and KO was really good as well. Very well done, especially the way that KO played up his character and Kofi was able to take down the bigger man with heart and agility. Very very good! I don't have much else positive to say so I'll keep it short. Both MITB matches were bad, with fewto no OMG moments. Lots of telegraphing of spots and phony, noncompetitive action and lots of weak moves taking people out for extended periods. The women's match was the worse of the two offenders. I also feel like this was a huge opportunity to pull the trigger on Drew that was missed. This is how guys like Bray and Braun get ed over. There's still time, but if they really want to establish someone, sometimes they need to go the predictable route, and quickly. I'd have put the SD title match last and had Drew come out and destroy both Kofi and Xavier and cash in. There was zero reason to waste the briefcase on a guy who can just walk into a title match. Nauseating finish, but I'm not even surprised.

Pretty much everyone knew he was going to win, but that didn't make it any less enjoyable. And on the flip side, just because something is unpredictable doesn't automatically make it a good thing.

Rollins vs AJ was one of the best matches WWE has put on in awhile imo. I really can't remember the last time I watched a main roster match I felt was that good from an in-ring standpoint. I thought that was better than literally everything we saw all of last year through this year to this point, sans maybe Charlotte vs Becky from Evolution but that was a gimmick match.
Glad Becky retained, at a minimum, against Evans. We got cool Becky 2 Belts shirts and now it's time to go back to the split and Becky was ending up on Raw. I don't care for Bayley but last night was a fun night for her. Because her booking has been so poor for almost two years she's got kind of a DPP, every woman, vibe going for her right now. Seems like they rewarded Bayley for the Sasha situation too, honestly. It was a lot more fun than what I envisioned of Charlotte taking one title and Mandy winning the case. I also thought Sonya carrying Mandy up the ladder was phenomenal.
- I liked the cage match ending quite a bit and Miz's reaction. - Thought Elias was great and the way he turns the crowd is kind of magical in 2019. The Elias/Roman stuff in general felt like a TV segment, though. - Liked what they did with Rey and Joe after the match, but I do hope Joe gets the title back after the Dominic angle runs its course. - Thought both the CW and WWE Title match were forgettable. - Brock showing up for MITB was painful. I'm just super tired of him around the title. I do think he's absolutely taking the WWE Title and he'll be on Fox as champion. To go one step further, I think we'll get Brock vs Cormier as a WWE match if it's not going to happen in the UFC.
